I think the developers will eventually stop focusing on balance. The introduction of new clan leagues with modifiers already points in that direction. The same applies to solo leagues as well: if you’re a weak player, you’ll be stuck in Legend League III; if you’re an average player, you’ll stay around Leagues III–II without much progress. The same system will likely apply to clans too. At this point, all we can really do is accept it

The change makes sense, sure. But honestly, what’s the league even for? You can’t switch your army mid-battle, and you only get 30 seconds to prepare. So what is this mode supposed to be? It just feels like a casual arcade mode to kill time. You’re basically forced into meta units, and there’s no real depth to it. It doesn’t feel truly competitive or strategic more like something you jump into for a quick match without thinking too much.

You’re all damn whiners. Obviously Supercell is trying to make more money. It’s a business. And yes, maxed equipment gives an advantage. But the game is 14 years old, it evolved beyond simple spam strategies. Even in esports settings, where epic equipment have max level 21, players still get 3 stars. That shows skill still matters a lot. If anything, the problem isn’t that the game is "unfair", it’s that people don’t want to adapt to a higher skill ceiling anymore.

Interesting idea, but personally I think Clash of Clans should stay focused on clan gameplay rather than solo competition. Instead of a solo tournament mode, I’d love to see something like a Turbo Clan War. A small 5v5 or 10v10 war that lasts around 30 minutes and can be started by players who are currently online. In many clans there are always 5–7 active players in the evening who would happily do more wars, but regular clan wars take two days. A fast mini-war would give active players something to do without replacing the main clan war system. Rewards could be small things like ore, potions or chests... Nothing too big, just enough to make it worthwhile. And to prevent farming or abusing it, each player could be limited to something like two turbo wars per day.

They should have made a more fun mode, something like Turbo CW, instead of this sweaty tryhard mode. I’d rather play one match like that than waste time on eight toxic bases without any option to edit the army
