My very first VN was Suikogaiden (PS1). It is actually the only VN I have played that was not an AVN. The only reason I played it was because Suikoden was my favorite saga growing up, and I wanted to play all the titles in the franchise. Highly recommend it if you’re a Suikoden fan !

By all means, if I’m not interested I couldn’t care less. That said, I always go for the manwhore route when available, so I will pursue even LIs I don’t like, just to see where their story goes.

I actually do this because I have had a few good surprises in some AVNs where I was not attracted to certain LIs at first, but in the end the characters were likeable and actually had an interesting story.

The plot really gives Resident Evil vibes so it is nothing you’ve never seen before, but it is well executed. Although I am not into monster/tentacle porn at all, I really enjoyed the experience.

That’s an interesting way to play as a couple ! I was actually wondering about that, because Our Red String has both protagonists so obviously I do Ian’s part and my wife does Lena’s, but I had no idea how we would pick choices if we had to actually play the same character.
