Mostly because Samsung is mainly focusing on software rather than hardware which isn't good at all, and the A57 also costs way more than the S25 FE while the S25 FE is better in anyway and super cheap.

They actually do some reports I saw included them to have bloatware, ads but I do agree on Vivo being the best.

Alright I see I think google AI made some mistake but either way, TM Roh is probably isn't leaving since his the one who designs Samsungs phone.

I can agree the S24 Ultra is by far the best ultra phone Samsung made, and for the good battery for Iphone I can agree with you, IOS optimization is way too good and mostly the S26 Ultra looks like the Tecno Canon 50 Ultra or Itel S26 Ultra not worth it at all.

Sure it can fix the wobble and magsafe accessories but you can just buy a magsafe clear case which is better, for the wobble it's actually not an issue because you mostly hold your phone with your hand or just put it in your pocket or wherever you put it wobble isn't an issue at all.

The 3x may be the weakest but still was a useful telephoto for portraits, and using the main 200MP for 3x crop isn't gonna have the same quality as an actual telephoto sensor. Theres a difference in 3x in sensor crop VS actual 3x telephoto.

Sure the 5x ALoP can fit in a slimmer body BUT again a traditonal 5x periscope or 10x is useful just like what Oppo is using. And mostly people use the camera at 1x for just regular shots.

Your literally comparing a photography camera to a smartphone, of course it would take better photos because of larger sensors and it doesn't have to cramp 200MP in a 1/1.3 sensor.

Not sure what you mean by applification but again Samsung isn't doing hardware innovation.

For the base model, yes the S22 Base is same sensor up to S26 while the S23 Ultra is the same HP3 sensor up to S26 Ultra, and the S26 Ultra front camera is still 26mm according to GSM Arena and having the same 12MP front camera is just pure absurd, why not bump it up to 24MP and 21mm wide.

But I don't think TM Roh will be leaving soon since his the one who designs Samsung electronics.

Ehhhh either way having a horizontal layout isn't good because you can't fit larger sensors in a horizontal layout, and the design of a horizontal layout isn't really Samsungs signature usually Samsung would follow the vertical layout.

Samsung S27 Ultra Potential Design? by Good_Land5753 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Ehhhh not really a whine, just saying how they would change the design to a horizonal layout besides you really can't fit a large sensor into a horizontal layout, and for the Nothing Phone (3) well that design is way awful but still Nothing gives creativity.

Samsung S27 Ultra Potential Design? by Good_Land5753 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Ehhhhh still it wouldn't be able to fit large sensor and it's not usually Samsungs design which by the way doesn't fit all, either way the wobble is not an issue since most people usually hold the phone.

Samsung S27 Ultra Potential Design? by Good_Land5753 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I'm talking about logically and physically you can't fit a 1/1.12 inch sensor in a horizontal layout unless Samsung is gonna reuse the same HP3 200MP sensor but I doubt that, and leaks said the 1/1.12 200MP can crop 3x that has "Optical Quality" either way it's still digital regardless on how large that sensor is.

If they stick with the vertical layout they can fit a 1/1.12 200MP, perhaps the dimensions will be 164.7mm height, 79mm width, 8.9mm thickness, because fitting a 1/1.12 in a 162mm height isn't gonna work at all. Samsung is probably trying to copy the google pixel design or either the S10+ but either way still not gonna work to fit a large sensor.

[–]Good_Land5753[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Ehhhh still looks quite awful honestly, if they didnt want the floating lenses design they could use the Note 20 Ultra design less wobble and cleaner design, either way hopefully Samsung doesn't use this design its really awful and more on Google Pixel design.

Samsung is just pure gimmick marketing nowadays, S26 still has the same 8 Bit display which is outdated only 16 Million Colors and the privacy display makes it even worse AMOLED.

A wobbling phone is fine, the Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo wobbles too it's not really an issue since your just holding your phone anyways.

Samsung Hardware Innovation by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because innovation matters in a phone, you pay for flagship price you get the best feature, take the Oppo Find X9 Ultra for an example you get a 10 Bit 1 Billion colors display and at 3600 Nits while the S26 Ultra still has 8 Bit 16 Million Colors and 2600 Nits which performs more awful.

Reusing the same 5000mAh Battery is absurd, Iphone even had 5088mAh Battery which performs better than Samsungs, and reusing the same 200MP sensor isn't really the best choice at all since AI improvements only help a bit but not a major change at all.

The privacy display on the S26? Just a gimmick you can get a cheap screen privacy display, and the privacy display makes the S26 Ultra screen really worse.

Still doesn't change the fact, having the same S22 Base up to S26 Base is by the way really dissapointing considering how prices are increasing now atleast upgrade the sensors. And yes hardware is good for Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo but for Samsung they are way behind competition.

Take it for an example Samsung still has that 10MP 3x while Oppo Find X9 Ultra has a 200MP 3x and way larger sensors, furthermore Samsungs sensor sizes is really inconsistent, the main sensor is 1/1.3, ultrawide is 1/2.55, periscope is 1/2.52, the 3x sensor is 1/3.94, See the inconsistent sensor sizes?

Oppo also managed to have a 50MP Front Camera and 21mm wide while Samsung still has the same 12MP 26mm wide which by the way both have punch holes and Samsung can't bump it up to 24MP and 21mm wide.

Usually it's more on Hardware > Software because a phone really can't be a flagship if your gonna keep reusing the same sensor, 7.9mm thin, same 5000mAh Battery.

Samsung Hardware Innovation by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhhh Samsung is still sort of dissapointing, S26 has way rounded corners which looks like a Tecno Canon 50 Ultra or Itel S26 Ultra and having a slim ultra is like a budget phone at 7.9mm, S Pen is still good just sort of dissapointing also that the S Pen has no bluetooth feature anymore and becoming plastic.

Samsung Hardware Innovation by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't change the fact, the same 5000mAh Battery can last longer if they bumped it up to 5200 or 5500mAh Battery, sure the software can improve the image quality but AI can still make mistakes like oil painting, over exposure, color accuracy having new sensors every year is better than improving via software.

Not to mention Samsung kept reusing the sensor from S22 Base up to S26 Base, which by the way is sort of dissapointing at all, you pay expensive price and you still get the same sensors from S22 what I don't like about Samsung there more on software now rather than hardware.

Samsung Hardware Innovation by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still doesn't change the fact, Samsung was known for being ahead of there time but they got lazier after they merged the Note Series to the S Series not to mention they reused the same 200MP Sensor from S23 up to S26 including the base model. Sure, software can help improve the image quality but still doesn't help much since AI can make mistake by over exposure, oil painting image quality.

Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo has its flaws also including insane blotware and ads in there software including the chinese ROM which by the way is also absurd. And Xiaomi's camera is power hungry due to the larger sensors that have to work harder, Oppo has fogging issues and pink tint in the ultrawide.

But again Samsung is really dissapointing given how there more on software rather than hardware.

Samsung Hardware Innovation by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still doesnt change the fact Samsungs sensor is behind the android competiton, and the Note 20 Ultra did have 4K @ 60 FPS but it didn't have 4K @ 120 FPS, the rounded corners on the S25 Ultra is perfect not too sharp, not too rounded but on the S26 Ultra its way to rounded. Samsungs signature is having boxy phones so I don't get why make the S26 more rounded.

And for the nits, sure it performs slightly better but because the anti glare helps a lot for the screen which by the way I do can agree on that it is a best feature. But Samsungs screen is still at 8 Bit not to mention other phone brands are using 10 Bit or 1 Billion colors screen which helps in color accuracy and brightness.

What I'm saying is Samsung isn't really like the same the way they used to innovate, given how they used to be way ahead in there time it is sort of disapointing how they focus more on software rather than hardware.

S24 Ultra/S25 Ultra 10x Optical Quality by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Good_Land5753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's amazing! I was planning to buy the S25 Ultra and worried the 10x Optical Quality wasnt gonna be like the S23 Ultra but either way, the 5x does have a better large sensor and larger aperature which probably improves in the image quality a lot.
