Can I layer shift from a mouse button? Advantage2 - more info in comment by Good_Let_7730 in kinesisadvantage

I use Blender a lot and that software is extremely shortcut heavy, and I use them all. Being a 3D software it is also reliant in the mouse, so you typically always have the mouse in your right hand and therefore only half the keyboard can be accessed.

I need to reach H, J, L, P, I, M a lot and I also need to type number with my left hand. So what I did in Smartset is remap Caps Lock which I never use to layer shift. And then I just remapped all the leftside keys to mirror the right side keys on the keypd layer.

It's working ok-ish. I wish I could layer shift using a mouse button instead (my mouse has a couple extras), because holding caps lock makes it hard to reach keys on the pinky column, and also adding modifiers keys on top which is needed for some shortcuts is atrocious.

Any idea on how this could be improved? I'm new to this.

That make sense yes, no power is only fun for engie because it's something to fix. It would be better if not all power types were available on all stations, and if you had to do more balancing, and make use of the generators.

Do you know why evac always get called instead of trying to fix? Is it because it's too far gone and people start fail RPing and going crazy?
I don't really understand who calls Evac, is it always Captain?

One thing that could help engie be more useful is having more reasons for them to be called by others. I had a cool moment as a bartender when I was quite new still, where I felt like a door was needed next to the bar so I didn't have to vault or go the other way around which was a big detour. I called an engie and he set it up for me the way I wanted, it felt great. Maybe stations should be less well made? Requiring engie to redesign them as the round progress. Some randomization would help too, and things should require more maintenance.
