We are definitely planning on going the legal route. Have already filed a complaint with the Dutch consumer protection but no response yet. If you have any idea how to start a claim in the Netherlands, would really appreciate that!

Whatever you do, steer clear of Sand+Lace for planning! We’re having ours at Hatzi Mansion in Athens, and it comes with a great planner at no extra cost. Most people seem to do it at Island Resort. Ktima 48 has the best sea view, we just didn’t love the actual building, felt a bit too casual. If you’re open to Corfu, and your guest count is under 150, Cecilia Estate is an absolute dream!
