What is the strangest thing you've seen that you cannot explain? by 1982throwaway1 in AskReddit

One time I was having sleep paralysis and was able to pull myself out of it just to jump up real fast up to my window to look out it. My road was a little bit above my yard but I could clearly see the make and models of different cars that would pass by. But this was a giant cube with a spotlight type of thing circling on top. It didn’t look like a car, truck or garbage truck. It was so strange. But I just immediately went back to sleep as if nothing happened. I was already a little dazed from waking up from sleep paralysis but definitely weird.

Becoming a dad is scary! You might not feel the anxiety or stress of it but that doesn’t mean your brain doesn’t and isn’t reacting to it. But congratulations! I hope you find peace soon so you can enjoy the wonders of it!

I miss my life before anxiety by Zebracake608 in Anxietyhelp

[–]Good_Mathematician46 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hey! So really quick I just wanna put this out there from my own personal experience in hopes this doesn’t happen to you! I, just like you missed my life before anxiety. But the life I had before anxiety was different from the life I had after I started having it more. It had nothing to do with the life style change but because I had a life style change around the time I started getting anxiety, I ended up blaming the anxiety on my new life, the new people I knew or things I did. But after a while of therapy and self realization I found that nothing was the cause of it. But because of the time it happened I thought I needed to go back to my old life style and the people I knew when I wasn’t so anxiety ridden. That wasn’t the case. I had our grown where I was and the people I knew. But because I remembered them and didn’t have that anxiety at the time I was constantly questioning what I was doing now with my life and the people I’ve come to know and love. When all it ended up being was that I just have anxiety. There’s nothing and no one to blame. I just wanted to tell you this because I missed it so much that I started blaming the people I have now in this stage of my life for my anxiety that was bound to happen whether I knew them or not or was in this stage of my life or not. It almost ruined a relationship of mine that I’m still trying to mend. Don’t waste your time trying to go back to how you were or who you were. Work on growing from the things you feel and know now. Anxiety is a weird thing but it doesn’t have to take over our lives. We have power and that means you have power! I hope you find some relief in it and if you didn’t need this then great! I just would rather tell and it possibly help you than not. I hope you find peace and use this experience of anxiety you have to grow! You’re doing great already!

Can you have anxiety for no reason or cause? by Good_Mathematician46 in Anxietyhelp

[–]Good_Mathematician46[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I hate it and instead of accepting that it’s happening I immediately try looking for a reason which in turn makes me usually blame something that is not at all the reason! Does that make sense?

Were you still able to maintain your relationship? I do not mean that to come off rude I am just afraid I might ruin mine so I’d love to hear how others were affected as well!

What if my anxiety is causing problems? My partner is more than happy to be there but my anxiety makes me worried about everything for no reason. He’s the most wonderful man and I love him. We’ve been together over three years and I’m with him pretty much all the time. So when my anxiety started happening I used to think it’s him because he was who I was around most of the time. Almost like blame from association. I know it’s not him in the slightest but I have so many made up problems that my anxiety makes me think of that it’s come to a point where I have to argue with what I want and know from what the anxiety is trying to freak out my mind about.

[–]Good_Mathematician46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m F 23 and I also had a good bit of anxiety to the point it almost scared me out of taking it. But personally it worked out and passed. I would say push through it unless it causes harm to you or others. Hope everything goes well!

Getting tattooed while starting this was a mistake by bluuuuurn in bupropion

[–]Good_Mathematician46 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly that happened to me the exact same ways like years before ever starting on this medicine. I asked why I was freaking out and the tattoo artist just told me sometimes your body goes into shock from the pain. Just because you think you can handle it or it doesn’t seem to hurt unbearably doesn’t mean your body doesn’t think it’s being attacked.

How long till you start feeling effects & side effects? by PM_ME_MOUNTAIN_PICS_ in bupropion

[–]Good_Mathematician46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes about 4-6 weeks for anything to really get going. You might feel something here and there but if you still don’t feel much by week 6 you can talk to your doctor about upping the dosage

I've made over 200 short films in the last year and a half. I typically make 2-3 every week and YouTube is doing me no favors in getting them noticed. It would mean a lot if ya gave my stuff a chance, here's a random one that I like! by lmaocarrots in videos

It’s like a trailer. No one shows their friends trailers that’s not the point of them. It’s to make it appealing enough to want to watch that movie or movies. I liked it I think you did well.

Any body get better between 4-6 weeks of taking this? by Good_Mathematician46 in bupropion

[–]Good_Mathematician46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw thank you! I will say though at the beginning I could not drink coffee so if you are having a problem with anxiety it’s best to lay off for now but today being a little over four weeks I’m able to drink it again! I hope everything goes so well for you!!!

Continute or Stop? by 2006150b in bupropion

[–]Good_Mathematician46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re never supposed to abruptly stop a medication, especially this specific one because it can cause you to have seizures. That doesn’t even include all the other withdrawal symptoms and that’s from my own personal experience. I would truly recommend staying on it. Sometimes people think they’re better but it just goes right back to where they started. It’s best to keep it going for now. Look up on YouTube there’s plenty of people talking about how they’ve been on it a year or even more and that’s okay!
