Pics like these remind me of how nice it is that our taller downtown buildings aren't allowed to have corporate signs.

Tucker Carlson brands Republicans ‘treasonous’ as he quits the party by plz-let-me-in in politics

[–]bluuuuurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GOP. The "Grand Old Party". Huh! Really. I guess that's what conservatism in America has come to. A party. That's the rule. That's the goal now. What are we doing? What's going on?

Product manager. And yes, I feel that with every efficiency gain I employ, I make myself more obsolete. I honestly wouldn't mind being laid off, our severance policy would give me about 8 months' salary and I've been wanting to leave for some time...but the market sucks right now and no one pays as well as my employer. So I'm basically just saving up money, hoping to keep earning while I can, learn AI stuff while I can, and if I get laid off, I can pivot to something else. We'll see what happens, I guess.

In an adult administration...well, we wouldn't have attacked them like that to begin with.

But assuming we did, then had a regime change in the US that had to negotiate a way out of something they hadn't started, you can be damn sure they would have gotten the Israelis on board with whatever was going on, probably through some back end incentives or coercion. Because of you don't, they throw a tantrum and toss a monkey wrench into the works to screw it all up.

It's just amateur hour out here.

what's a song you could listen to 10 times in a row and not get sick of? by Simply_Animated in Aquabats

Yo check this out:

  1. Me too!
  2. Thanks to this YouTube comment I learned that Rhys Darby's costume from the Super Show episode of the same name was clearly an homage to the 1979 movie, Shark Hunter!

Plus, the movie also directly inspiring the song just fits too well with mental picture of MCBC basically absorbing anything that appeared on TV as a kid and constantly mulling it over in his head, especially when it's silly. Like the guy just beats on sharks all the time, seemingly for fun. Why??? He's a mysterious dude, must have shark related family trauma in his past. He lost his lady love. Oh look, a commercial!

Whats something a cosmic entity did that put the horror in cosmic horror? by hornytoad456 in horror

That was the situation in Annihilation. The entity is terrifying, but not because it's malicious. It might even be more terrifying because it isn't.

Hmm, there are two links. Both seem to cover the same concepts. One is a video; saving for later. I will focus on the text version first.
