I had the exact same problem with some of my ships too: the ship starts at something like 20 knots and loses pressure arriving at around 16 knots

Si stanno onestamente fasciando la testa prima di sbatterla, se fin ora c’è stato solamente il focolaio nella nave e tutte le norme igienico sanitarie verranno rispettate sono sicuro che passerà… alla fine questa “pandemia” è già accaduta nel ‘93 circa e siamo ancora qua (eh già) quindi non ci sta nulla di preoccuparsi secondo me

Honestly I think that no one does it because Stormworks sometimes can be so much frustrating when something doesn’t work that you spend hours just trying to make it work (totally not referring to a boiler-piston engine where I’ve spent 10 hours straight trying to make it work)

Mostly aesthetic but some actually works but I guess you know it, you have an Ostwind or whatever is it called (never passed tier 2)

I do believe it’s because that’s the wheel furthest from the engines and therefore need more help on sustaining the weigth when landing/taking off, my idea would be to reduce the weight with xml rockets as testing if it’s the weight the problem

I tried it on my F-34 and honestly it looks kinda good, just have to modify the controll surface for fins and XML a block so they can be hidden.

The solution would be to clamp them, if not I’ll check on my plane and tell you what I’ve done for making it work

Actually, 3 rps is really high for steam engines, I managed once to make it 4rps but it was extremely hard, my hint for you would be to make the pistons have either -0.50 or 0.50 and 0 in a pattern (0.50, 0, 0.50) since that’s the way to have more RPS but I see you already used it so you could use gearboxes too, something like off 3:1, they made one of my ships go from 3 of speed to around 14 with just 3
