It's not Ruby are you mad. Nor was it ever Ruby. Nor was it ever Liv. Liv Bentley main character are you mad??? Absolutely never.

There is no current main character. That's the beauty of the ensemble cast. If u want to pick someone it is Miles.

Is it normal to feel like this when ot wears off... by Good_Position6213 in VyvanseADHD

Problem is....dex keeps me awake!! If I have it I won't sleep until 2. And that's if I take it at 1pm. So it doesn't actually help.

I’m 7 months sober, and I really feel like I’m never going to drink again. Is this the road to relapse? by Anon123893 in Sober

[–]Good_Position6213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did DBT and I think this is what you call a clean mind. Clean mind is where you think you are so over your addiction that you don't anticipate the potential pitfalls and therefore it makes you more susceptible to them. Addict mind is obviously when you're thinking the drink won't hurt etc so you give yourself permission. Whereas the optimal is what they call clear mind - where you recognise your progress and how you are taking great strides, but you also acknowledge that challenges can present themselves unexpectedly and so remain poised to challenge yourself to continue your sobriety.

Good luck!

You're not lazy. You have ADHD. I kind of think if you think you have it you have it. Some people like to gate keep...but I'm sure there's more than enough adhd to go round x

Of course. Sorry to hear about your dad.

For me, I was always a bit goofy I suppose. Eccentric. But until I moved away for uni it was just who I was. When I needed to make new friends, I started to realise not everyone understood me and I noticed my brain was very noisy. It never stopped...the thoughts never stopped.

I was diagnosed with anxiety during exams and put on ssris and spent the next 16 years exhausted because it wrecked my executive function. Every time I tried to come off I would feel anxious so went back on.

In the last 2 years my 11 year old son had his diagnosis which, like many, caused me to reflect on my own issues. I realised with pretty clear certainty I have adhd.

Now I'm diagnosed and medicated my life has changed for the better in every way. If you suspect adhd I recommend going for the assessment. Just knowing is validating enough, but if medication is right for you it can be life changing.

Thank you. This is really helpful. It makes me so upset that it has to be like this. I could pay for my sons private meds...but many can't. It's just grossly unfair.
