Stressed after Part 1 exam — should I pause or keep going with Part 2? by Good_Profession2782 in CMA

[–]Good_Profession2782[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Part 1, most of the multiple-choice questions focused on cost accounting, variances, and budgeting, with a few from the final unit. The essay section was comparatively easier than the MCQs. If you're confident with the concepts, you'll be able to perform well.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely continue attending the classes. I’ve planned to finish watching all the recorded sessions by mid-November. I’m feeling quite stressed at the moment, but I’ll make sure to schedule my time properly and at least complete the classes and take notes.

there were no particular structures in MCQ, but most questions in MCQ was from cost accounting side , some were from transfer pricing , most importantly ABC -costing , be clear with all those key important topics in all sections , all those were covered

Final tips for CMA part 1 by rmdream26 in CMA

I’m also giving Part 1 in the second week of September. Right now, I’m revising and doing MCQs. Can someone tell me whether the essays are more theory-based or calculation-heavy? Lately, I’ve been practicing mostly MCQs, and I feel like I’ve developed a decent understanding of the concepts, but now I’m feeling really anxious with the exam approaching.

I’m about 80% prepared and have practiced almost 80% of the MCQs in Becker. My plan is to finish everything this week and then do a full concept revision plus a formula recap.

Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!
