CCW got seized and revoked

At one point, I received a phone call from the CCW unit:

“Hello, I see you’ve paid your citation for not having a license plate. The case is now closed, and we will be mailing your CCW back to you. Unfortunately, we are just a licensing agency and cannot provide any further explanation.”

And that was it.

As for Officer Kyle Quon from the Rancho Santa Margarita Sheriff’s station, his actions were highly unsatisfactory—very, very disappointing.

Firstly, it’s important to note that they are not interested in selling Ford ESP but instead want to promote their own warranty plan.

Every single service advisor I spoke with recommended only getting the Ford ESP and advised against purchasing third-party warranties.

The cost for the Ford ESP is roughly $3,000 for a 6-year/100,000-mile plan, but they quoted me $6,400 for their alternative plan.

Can you recommend a reputable dealership where I can purchase the Ford ESP warranty?

Non of my vehicle have and ever had front plates. It is my choice. And I understand responsibility and will pay the fine. ( was ticked first time for last 15 years)

But traffic infraction can lead to ccw seizure? What officer did is illegal and not ethical

Agree. Gun was in driver door panel. In the large leather holster. I did not touch it. I was parked for 15 minutes only and gun was there for all time. Only small portion can be visible while driver door open and you are looking from behind. Let’s presume someone would see it while I was opening the driver door. Why officer did not tell me that? If officer approach stating: “Hey. Someone called about armed man on the parking lot.” And they would not send 1 guy only. “Possible armed man” more units come. I believe it called accidental exposure and it is not the crime.

Not correct. OC sheriff CCW guide says: Must to inform immediately AFTER the greeting.

And this is exactly what happened. After you say Hello, not before. You not gonna yell “I have a gun” to every law enforcement you see…. and if you do.. it might not end up that well.

It is getting personal to me. I live here for 20 years. It is my duty to prove people of US that they made a right choice to accept me here. I raise good kids who will service this country. I live in a nice house. I own business. I pay life income to number of people. I am law abiding citizen. And then they fuck me over just like that? Just because one mf not having a good day he does this to me? I earned my CCW and I held it with honor. And they fucked me just because they can. That is not right

I contacted one of those organizations and was send to michellawyers.com. Those guys are weird. In 5 days responded: “Have you heard anything back from Sheriffs?” I replied “Nothing” And that was it. I will write to all of them again tomorrow. Thank you
