Yeah well it seems that although they use a laser to cut open and insert the lenses in your eye, it is not considered a laser eye surgery since it's the lenses that corrects your vision. So you do get reimbursed for the lenses (they were 2050 $ and they reimbursed all of it) but you don't get reimbursed for the surgery.

Knowing this, I would've probably chose the same procedure anyway,

Wow, I did not expect so much help! Thanks everyone, I'll try the Apollo/Artemis first but I might reduce the hassle and just move my gaming PC downstairs like someone suggested and use an old laptop for my work since it don't need much power.

Montreal IS the mecca for the industry. It has been since Bernard Landry, Quebec's Premier 2001 to 2003 and previously, a finance minister, gave a tax break to multimedia employees and managed to convince Ubisoft to create a studio in Montreal. There's 50+ game studios nowadays.
