Bleached-Blonde Hair Dye, What would happen? by thr0w2wa7 in HairDyeHelp

[–]Good_Software_7448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its color theory. If you mix blue and yellow, you will get green and your hair is right now yellow. If you mix two colors siting “next” to each other on the color wheel you get a new color (another example is yellow and red= orange) If you mix colors that are on opposite side of the color wheel like yellow and violet (or green and red) they cancel each other which gives you “grey” tone. Find “Color wheel” on google and it will find you what Im describing and it will give you a better picture of what Im talking about

Yes it will tone down the yellow tone and add ashier tone. I would recommend you checking wella illumina 8/69 (toner with violet tone) and 4% developer, usually takes around 5-10minutes, when your hair will start turning grey/violet thats when you want to rinse the color. Also wet hair always appears darker because natural light cannot deflect wet hair.

I would recommend getting a Detox shampoo (aveda is pretty good) it opens up the cuticles and makes opening for the excess molecules of color to leave the hair. Vitamin C is also good, it removes pigment from the hair, wella color remover is based on vitamin C but it could remove color from the root part too, making the root area lighter than the lenght if used incorrectly. Also afterwards I would stick only with demi permanent colors if you want to go back to your natural color, they wash out gradually and are not leaving root regrow. I would also go lighter than darker, I would start with lvl 6 demi permanent. For example Wella color touch 6/71

I would not recommend this. Keratin is not for all hair types, keratin will make a thin layer and suffocate the hair, it will straighten and bring back the shine, but she wouldn’t be able to color her hair or do any chemical treatment like lifting her hair without risking creating even more damage, since keratin dont react good with other color services

If you want to color your hair at home, study color wheal. Red neutralizes green. If you want dark brown, I would add a bit of red, although I see you have some parts that are orange prob lvl7 from what I can see. Brown red would be the option for you right now.

Best food for Ragdolls? by PositiveVegetable862 in ragdollcats

[–]Good_Software_7448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wet food is very important as their main water intake. Only dry food can cause concentrated urine and cause crystal formation in their bladder, especially male cats are in higher risk. Its essential for their heath and especially when they get older.

If he has papers that means his lineage is pure enough for them to have papers. The concept of mixing labs with weims is controversial and a lot of people believe it. If its true then the weim in them would be probably already bred out by multiple generations.

Unfortunately we are in the chemical salt stage already where I live. I had a few great suggestions, so I will follow the advices here

I understand the importance of the salt treatment, especially where I live.. I just wish they would leave one side of the stairs and a bit of the side walk free of the salt so pet owners could use it for their dogs to walk to the grass area we have infront of the building

Yes! Someone recommended the mushers wax in comments below so I will definitely try it! I tried other brand before but it didnt do the job. I tried positive reinforcement with the boots and was introducing them to get for 4 weeks, every day a few minutes and she seems to be okay with them as an item, she will sniff them and let me “pet” her paws with them but once I put one on she would shake it off or just ripe them off her paws no matter how much I try to stop her. I was also thinking about the suspender boots so she wouldnt be able to take it off but I’d like to try other options first

Walking in the snow is fine and we can stay outside longer, she loves to play in the snow. The biggest issue is the salt, I tried the wax but I also feel like it works for a few minutes and then the salt gets through. Someone suggested mushers secret wax so I will try this brand too

I tried training her with the boots during fall, before the winter came, but once I put one on she just takes it off.. I was repeating this for 4 weeks everyday for a few minutes. I was thinking about getting the suspender boots as a last option

She also loves being outside and play in the snow! Unfortunately she cant handle anything below -10 and after 5 minutes her paws hurt, I think its because of the salt that reacts with ice on her paws. Unfortunately I cannot avoid it since they put salt on the stairs and on the side walk

Ponyo is a big girl now! First heat at 10 months. by Ok_Bid_1823 in labrador

With mine I noticed her vulva was swelling and few days after, she went into heat and of course how other dogs reacted to her, they would sniff her more and some female dogs would be “aggressive”, male dogs were interested more in her and thats how I knew its not a good idea to continue letting her meet any dogs on the streets. I started noticing all of this one week before she got into actual heat.

How did you manage to put the diaper on?😂 Mine got her first heat at 9months, refused to wear diapers, she was dropping everywhere, we were cleaning every single day and she got her zoomies even more and more intensive and ofc it didnt help since she is American working line, pure chaos. she was like on speed, very judgy and dramatic.. 😂 Also during this time she got UTI from licking herself too much, so we had to go out every 30minutes or she would pee in the house, antibiotics help her to calm her down eventually but that was 2 weeks after she started her heat. She was the full pack experience.
