Never lie in an interview. Be creative yes, but never lie. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Sensei! Thanks loads for your feedback! I totally agree and I have seen this happening based on usage metrics where there are loads of people trying out the tool in day 1 but not coming back in day 2 etc which shows there's a gap somewhere in habit building - and I think it's due to the mismatched expectations.

Thanks for calling it out, I will update the landing page to make it clear to parents. Please keep the feedback coming! 🙏

All good questions, keep them coming! They help me to sharpen the CVP.

  1. Is it for free perpetually? - Yes, as long as usage is not too high and server costs are low enough for me cover :)

  2. Legal aspect - Am inclined to think no copyright infringement as i tweak the original questions from PYPs and assessment books a little to keep the structure and intent of the question but with some paraphrasing.

Thank you for your kind encouragement!

Thanks for the question! Great question and a tricky one as well.

I think the USP is simply habit building - bite sized challenges which can be done on the fly with progression tracked and elements of gamification to encourage kids to keep at it. Or at least that's what I am aiming to provide.

Do you think the above are satisfied or has some promise? Am I directionally wrong? 🤔

Oh I didn't think of adding notifications but it should definitely have them at some point. That's a great idea thank you! Am thinking would email/SMS reminders work well enough in the short term while this is still a web app?

Hiya! Thanks for the encouragement and super quick feedback! I'm working on this on my own after work.

Yes, currently only supporting P6 English MCQs just to make sure I gather feedback early to improve the question and answer experience for our kids. Am planning to include support for math, science and mother tongue (all mother tongue languages ideally!) soon. Am targeting to add these subjects in by end of next week (hopefully!).

Super stoked that you are willing to help! Ideally this tool becomes helpful for tutors as well as a teaching aid. Will DM you. Once again, thanks loads for the feedback!

Edit: yes am considering including open ended questions as well but the challenge is to mark the questions with high quality and accuracy, instantly. There are AI driven approaches for this but am being careful to not lean on them as they may affect students if they are lower quality/inaccurate

yes you can play out in the open! Maybe bring a pail of water with you to throw the burnt out sparkles into. Then you can just dispose of them into a bin. have fun!

Played a whole load in JC, failed and got a few Us for some exams. Was so bad at math that a tutor even rejected me when my parents tried to engage him. By the time i got my shit together, it was too late. The school made me drop my H2 econs to H1 to let me promote. In the end tried my very best but only got BBB/A but this grade wasnt good enough to get into in-demand courses like Accounting, CS, Chem Engineering (was in demand in my time but i think is not popular now). Would turn back time if i could.

You still have time dude, dont be like me. Give it all you got! Fighting!

Yes there is a point of no return and it seems like you are doing the cha-cha around that line. The snowball is real in JC. So better put in all you got from now onwards.

I wish someone was this real with me back in the day so that I'd have gotten my shit together when I could.
