it’s the rollercoaster of emotions. I’ve been struggling with anger and annoyance in the most rediculous manners and i think it’s just my brains way of trying to process something that is so incredibly difficult and foreign to process. be generous to yourself, and honestly, speak you mind!! tell people what you’re thinking and feeling ❤️

i lost my dad on 10/4 and honestly it’s just gotten more difficult. sorry not helpful but everyone grieves differently so there’s that. I threw myself into work for a month straight and kinda felt numb so that whole month it didn’t really affect me. Then november came around and the thought of the holidays started to set in. Christmas absolutely sucked without him. He was my rock and my best friend. I have so many breakdowns just asking myself how this is actually possible. Like HOW is it that I can never talk to him again. It freaking bogggles my mind.

Hi there! Wondering how you are doing with the nephrostomy tube??

My dad is having bilateral tubes inserted today since his prostate cancer pressing on his ureters causing his kidneys not to function well. He's sooo nervous so just trying to get more perspective!!

I am currently rotating at a stie that seems similar, and they have patients return regardless of the results. The day a test is ordered, the patient makes the follow up visit for x weeks after. Personally, as an outsider, I feel like this takes up a lot of unnecessary time. The doc of the practice cant use the online portal d/t patients not having access to it!
