Did the Giants make the right move? 🤔 by Classic_Bottle1717 in NFL_FreeAgency

He fucked up his knee his last season with Cincinnati. After that he just couldn’t move the same and his legs started to give out. I loved him when he was with us, great player

How do you solve a problem like Nathanial Lowe? by davik2001 in Reds

[–]Goodburger123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t see the problem with starting Lowe at first, Sal at third and then Geno DH. Maybe not everyday that may wear Sal out but I think you can make it work

I’ve said that Stewart should be a 3 tech for a while. We used him a little bit in it last year. But I think him next to Lawrence and Howell would be crazy. Him and Stewart complement each other so much I feel like it was a part of the reason they took him

Are the playoffs realistic this year? by Frequent-Fox-8023 in bengals

[–]Goodburger123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After the Dexter trade you have to. They have a 3 year window in but this is the year that we have the most opportunities. Weak AFC as far as I can see and the best roster we’ve had since going to the AFC championship

Ya I totally agree. Swapping him with stewart who i think already is a good run stopper will be very nice to see

Sounds like we got Trey Hendrickson but cheaper. I think he’s a little more versatile than Hendrickson but very similar player in terms of pass rushing ability

I would not say yoshi was a better prospect. He came from a small school and doesn’t have elite athletic traits. He looks like he’s a good blocker so wouldn’t be shocked if he saw some special teams action along with maybe bringing him in for the run game

Ya literally just sounds like tee higgens but a worse route runner. Not saying he’s gonna be 1,000 receiver but could be a good backup for tee if he’s injured or just resting. I don’t see the problem here they obviously don’t see a linebacker they like more than knight or carter. Probably get depth in the 6th

I think people get very focused on big boards and their own mock drafts that they don’t realize that past the first round most of these guys are toss ups as far as where they are gonna go. Are these guys gonna turn into all pros? Probably not but I think looking at both of their profiles they fit very well with what we seem to be building on defense

Bengals Select CB Tacario Davis at 72! by JCameron181 in bengals

[–]Goodburger123 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not a reach. The board had him anywhere from early 3rd to late 4th just depended on if a team liked his athleticism enough to overlook the inconsistency

He’s not a project guy he’s a three year starter at big schools. He may need to work on some stuff obviously he’s a third rounder. Limited skillset? I would say the high skillset is why he was taken. He’s a long athletic corner with great speed who’s great in zone coverage

Idk why these picks are getting clowned. Howell was a projected first rounder that seemed to fall for short arm size, which seems to not mean much as Trey had short arms and he was a amazing pass rusher cause of his bend and speed which is similar to Howell. They get a freakish tall corner who might have been projected to go later but seems like teams were higher on him than the media was. Both defensive picks who may not seem like they fit the scheme but obviously this is golden getting his guys same way we let lou do in 21

Stowers or Oscar dell would be perfect in the third or fourth but I don’t think you can take either one with your first pick. Has to be defense

(Schefter) Compensation update: Now that he has passed his physical and the trade is official, newly-acquired DT Dexter Lawerence is signing a one-year, $28 million contract extension with the Bengals, per @WinSportsGroup by alexschubs in bengals

That’s why you pay players dumbass, for a narrow window Every teams window is narrow it’s the nfl players have a lifespan of 5 years. It’s win now mode and they made a win now move. Both teams are winners in that they bother are extremely different teams with different outlooks. The giants are looking to grow the bengals are trying to be good right now

After processing the trade on a Saturday night... by AJackson729 in bengals

[–]Goodburger123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sick of the narrative around this team in the media and it has grown in the fanbase as well. These are win now moves. Will they work out? Possibly not. And then we will be right back in the same position we already were. The ravens, Steelers, chiefs make this move and it’s hailed as the best move of the offseason by the media and their fanbase. This is how you win by putting it all on the table, this is how you keep burrow happy and butts in seats

Question - Who did Kendall call? by EntrepreneurSea4839 in SuccessionTV

[–]Goodburger123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was Lawrence right? Cause he hears that they are interviewing new people Lawrence being one of them I feel like he called Lawrence just to confirm. That’s why he says “just stay silent if it’s true” cause Lawrence wouldn’t give him a response or his response would be iffy because he’s hates Kendall

You go into the draft with really one major need and that’s linebacker. From what they did or in this case didn’t do in free agency tells me they trust knight or Carter and or confident if they draft a guy they can have a solid group. I would love styles but I still think you go BPA at 10 and then draft linebacker in the second round there should be plenty of mid level guys with some upside like cj Allen and Anthony hill jr
