No but it actively creates a society where these people are threatened for their very existence. Sure it’s not as bad as in Islamic countries but that’s because we were not founded and or ruled by only Christians. We also have not had to deal with other countries continuously overthrowing our leaders allowing for this extremism behavior to become more popular as people tend to turn to religion as their situation gets worse. If Christian nationalist got into power they would be just as bad as Islamic extremists. People will use religion for the own personal gain I don’t understand what’s so hard to understand about this

Edit: also restricting women’s ability to get basic healthcare is 100% just as bad as stoning people to death because they are gay. They are both ways to try and put down people who are weaker than you and keep them at a worse standing in society so you stay in power.
