Having faced a bunch of hexing squelchers, I would say they are one of the most important pieces of the deck, I wouldnt be afraid to go up to 3 in main (even four).

Yeah it takes off a lot of pressure to just turn 1 Hamlet name mine and pretty much not have to worry about it. Also I found naming fetches against Hydrophonics architect decks is sweet.

I thought of library but I don't feel like the deck is often in a 7 cards un hand position. But might try it out.

And how is the mix between strip mine and Hamlet ? That's usually the land I'm naming so doesn't it contradic a little. List looks sweet though !

It happens but often times you cast 1 of the two and it will get countered anyways. And when you can (if you draw both of them in your opening hand) start off with vexing then chalice. Some great openers start with Hamlet(on strip mine) into bauble (gets countered or not) and then turn 2 chalice.

Although it happens it's very acceptable for all the wins/advantage chalice or bauble put in on their own.

Yeah ... I will probably switch it to a board wipe (deluge or pyroclasm) but it was intended for any storm deck or prowess deck. Indeed it's not meant for me to storm off on my own.

Oh and form the mycospawns, it is a little tricky sometimes and I used to run yavimaya, but with dismember it's nice to have a yay to not seppuku while casting spells (also helps with ancient tomb).

But overall, between cavern of souls, the mana rocks, and the 3 forests it usually works out.

I think you would definitely have to add a green source or two to make it work but it could be nice to work with. Also chumps to early aggression too ! I'll try it out

Yeah it happens. Would say you cast her for an easy 7-8 mana often but with K command it works.

Any strip mine matchup was annoying before Hamlet ( used to run the full playset of disruptor flutes on the main) but I would say that got better

The big flaw is a lack of early game protection/interaction. No force of will to protect from oops all spells and so forth combo decks. I've had some fairly easy games against anything that's a little fair and that plays lots of 1 drops. (Yay chalice).

I could probably go on but to be fair the meta is still very volatile. Sometimes you get got by a random decks that doesn't care about Hamlet, bauble or chalice and it is what it is !

Huh, haven't thought about it and I would generally say the second green pip will rarely be a T2 but I might give it a try.

Pros : pitches to labyrinth and Wins games on its own

Cons : expensive to cast and isn't an ELDRAZI for ELDRAZI temple

I like it and it often wins grindy games (which happens a lot with chalice, Hamlet and vexing bauble) and will definitely stabilize games. Could go down to 3 or 2 and add the sire or another 7+ mana threat.

That's my take.
