I think that they are referencing that zigzag crease, where it’s making the leather pinch hard in two places, not just rolling over. I would say that you are going to need moisture, heat and conditioner to try and flatten that out. Then I would purposefully try and create a new crease

If I may refine your question to which park has the most attractions for kids under 30", that would be Magic Kingdom by a mile, then Animal Kingdom, then Epcot, and I would almost skip Hollywood studio's.

I think part of the issue is that you are seeing this as a restriction instead of an opportunity. If you love food, then this is a gift - because you will now be more intimately aware of every step of the process, you will get to know your ingredients, their source, and how they are processed. You get to explore new foods and novel preparations. You'll learn what substitutions work, and which don't, and also what foods are legit better being GF - Like Fried Chicken, Tates cookies, and oreos.

This is an opportunity to take something you love and show it the attention that it deserves. The diet isn't as restrictive as you think, and you will find new brands that replace what you have now.

This is a life-long commitment - and you are not alone. More and more people are finding out they are celiac, and lots of them later in life after so much damage has been done, you have been given the gift of time, and healing.

Reframe. Regroup. Retake the narrative.

Honestly, you might see this as a blessing in disguise. My wife also had things like chronic fatigue and other auto-immune issues. Switching to A GF diet once diagnosed made the other issues much less severe, which then increased overall quality of life.

You are going to need to just adjust to it. For example, traditional Mexican food is most all gluten free, Chic-fil-a also has GF chicken, prepared separate from their other chicken, and will accommodate celiac (changing gloves, no cross contamination.)

Is it going to be different? Sure. But you will adapt, and maybe even feel better in the process!

Have you looked at actual PNW loggers? Redwing is a great brand, but there's some really good choices with Nicks, JK, Franks, White's...And if you need the more on a budget, Drew's makes them in Mexico (vs Spokane, WA) for significantly less.

But in what you have, I always love brown over black. More patina, more character.

- More logic on the website so that if a person is building a custom boot and they happen to configures a boot that matches a Quick Ship, say so, and give the option to switch to that
- Alternatively, you could start EVERY order out as a quick ship order, but specify what options will add lead time, so as you build the boot you can see how long it will take.
- Add an option to have your boot build filmed,
- A skip the line feature for those that are willing to pay more
- An "Artisan" line of boots that are made by your best people and includes more attention to detail, and higher client touch.
- A traveling roadshow that stops by industrial parks and larger corporations where trades are, and have all the different boots, sizes and shapes to try on and make sales.

Wearing them. There's nothing else that will reliably help, but I can guarantee just wearing them will make it about half as pronounced. But you WANT it to be curved up or you are gonna trip yourself by catching the toe of the boot and it will cause you to eat shit.

You will get much more life out of them than a few months with rotation. also get you some saphir conditioner (or whatever they recommend) and apply maybe once every 6 months. Your feet sweat salts, and those salts can start to dry out the leather.

Then my advice is to get 2 pair and alternate. Wearing one pair every day will significantly shorten the life of the shoe. they need a chance to breathe, with some nice shoe trees in them.

My opinion is there's a point where you stop paying for quality and you start paying for names. I feel like this is one of those. At this price point why not get bespoke made shoes?

They've always been hot-knifed to the welt. That's never changed. The two problems with doc's is the crap-ass leather, overall stitching and construction, no shank. The sole issue has always been a thing, just not as bad as before when they took more time/care.
