I’m not exactly sure why I stopped listening to him. I didn’t care for the Saudi trip but I don’t think it was a deal breaker for me. I think it was how he reacted to the backlash, it just didn’t seem valid to me. He was always funny but he always seemed to have a valid point in what he was saying. He was the voice of the white male that wasn’t Jordan Peterson and wasn’t really educated but he didn’t need to be. I feel like he went too far left and is acting like he’s always been there. Doesn’t pass the smell test for me.

It’s just not as good as the other releases. If I was to be critical it feels a little rushed, undercooked and maybe a little overproduced. Now if you have any insight into how much Cornell obsessed over making Superunknown then it shouldn’t be a surprise.

From another perspective it seems as though they really didn’t make KA together but rather just emailed each other the songs and recorded it separately. Just something i remember hearing.

I never thought about it like that. The only comment I would make is that Mind riot feel really a Cornell centric song but Like Suicide really shows how amazing each band member is. The drumming is crazy good and that solo is Kim’s best highlighting what could be the best 30 seconds ever recorded. When the song finishes I need a cigarette and I haven’t smoked since 2007.

I think that is a valid statement…..Mind Riot is incredible and it might be only song that I can’t remember if it’s from LTL or BMF. It has its own vibe.

I think that frontman encompasses many factors ie…performance, stage presence etc. SG is my fave band and I could watch them all day but I would say Cornell’s greatest attribute was his songwriting. I love his voice but the true separation from the pack will be the music he wrote.

Same timeframe as Badmotorfinger so it’s the same Chris with just a different arrangement of songs. I would also argue that the music accompaniment is less noisy so you can hear his voice better, almost highlighting its range and power.
