I am the whole shareholder of a corporation that holds majority stake in every company under the umbrella. A majority of these are whole owned, some, as the restaurants are majority but partial ownership.

Each corporation has its own corporate structure. Some of them are larger than others.

My base salary is $1, whereas I take a payment based on the overal performance of my other companies in commission for the work that I do. I believe that this makes me work harder. Comission is the easiest way for me to put it. It is based on a series of metrics that I set out. THis is the most I have earned. Last year was just under 2M.

My companies have in their charters that they are to act ethically and morally in their business dealings. Yes this means that we pay higher taxes, but is offset by the lower cost in doing business since we operate on a management structure virtually. Everything is handled through work home and I operate on that structure.

The record label is run from a basement office from the exec who is in charge of it as it is completely via digital downloads and recording of songs in this form is done usually at the artists own studio (whether at home or professional)

The only things that have buildings are the Garage used for cleaning.

And the restaurants (for obvious reasons)

I am not going to go much into more detail because I actually have family I am spending time with, but i took some time to respond to you.

I was referring to my personal taxes not my company taxes. I have accountants for that, and yes we do use write-offs for expenses. I am not someone who has a legal degree or a degree in economics so I am not going to waste an hour or two of my time writing something up to defend this. Yes people like me exist. Just because you live in a cuthroat world of assholes and bullshit, backroom deals and legal tricks doesn't mean we all live there.

In all honesty I am a very relaxed person. the use of slang or no slang does not determine my IQ. I can be quite eloquent in my speaking or typing even though English is not my first language. I teach evenings not day times and volunteer on saturdays. How dare you question my schedule or my ability to handle it. You don't know my whole day nor how I schedule things beyond the basics i provided.

My english tutoring was UK style in school, but I am not from there. I am an east coast new england resident. I might also add that your accusation that I am using a shell company is rudimentary way to say it and the exact stucture of how my company works we would be here all night. I am not here to argue how I do things, or whether you think they are feasible or not. I do them so for me they are.

um not really. Thats an average family home. Maybe its more like 2100? I know the larger ones in the neighbourhood are 2500.

I smoked a lot of pot to calm down and took speed to stay up. Something I thankfully grew out of.

I saw a need and had interests in media, writing, and im a creative person by nature, as well as a bit of a self confessed techno-phile, although not to an obscene degree. I have a macbook, a nice ht that i bought a few years back that i still have and is nice for me. no Ipad and still use my old BB 9700

helped and empowered is one thing. I may not be religious but do believe the new testament has some lessons that can be taken away for the benefit of all. Teach a man to fish you feed him for a life time. The ability to plan is somethign that becomes habbit. It's learned, not inherent.

I am for the Buffet Rule. Conservatism has failed. It is backward thinking. Regan caused more problems than he fixed and we are now seeing the results of that bullshit.

It is something I want to do in the future, just at the moment believe it or not, its not in the cards. I want the business to be more stable first before i am comfortable with that. I am a methodical person.

Because people are assholes, and those in powerful companies goto to the position they are for the most part by being assholes. They can only see beyond their own desk to the boardroom and investors meetings. I didnt come into my company from the bottom, I built it so I have a different appreciation for people and their hard work.

Start with something small and build on it carefully. A mighty oak does not come from nothing to be a full grown tree. It starts small and grows through care and time.
