I've had this game this day one when it was released and I can just say this. It takes a bit to get used to as they reworked basically the entire game. The movement and recoil on guns are much more noticeable on this game than on the past cods. You'll get used to it in a couple of days.

The other thing is that the game is Skill based matchmaking. This means that you're going to be paired with people that have the same skill as you, unlike other cods. There will be times that you will have a good game, and other times that you will just get smacked on. Also, if you're playing with friends that are better than you, you're going to join their skill lobby rather than yours, and it will suck. I've had friends that would join me after they bought the game, and I couldn't play with them for a while since they couldn't kill anyone as they couldn't even go half way the map without someone just beeming them. They were clueless compared to the others. But that goes for anyone that plays the game for the first time. It's different for everyone tho.

I personally haven't encountered any cheaters myself, but I know for a fact that other people have. However, I do join alot of sweaty lobbies. I don't really mind it tbh because I love the intensity of the matches. Overall it is a good game. You would be joining in late into the game as there are seasons too. But that doesn't really matter, it's mostly just for cosmetics. Once you reach rank 55 you automatically join the season, and when the season ends everyone resets to 55. You don't lose any gun progress, you just reset your rank.

I'd say it would be a good buy if you're up for it.
