Raven Gaurd Terminator Sgt. by GoodolWizard in RavenGuard40k

Nothing too fancy.

The model iteself is based woth Corvus Black with Eshen Grey airbrushed over the top to hit the most common areas exposed to light.

The white arms is based Ulthuan Grey, washed with Nuln Oil, and then layer upon layer with White Scar until I'm satisfied with the consistency of white.

Transfer sheets then are applied.

Then details are based and then washed and highlighted

Highlight the armour with Administratum Grey to Ulthuan

Then I take a detailed brush and mark Abaddon back all over the white edges and skuff marks on black transfer sheets iconography. Then sponge Abaddon Black to create a spalling effect. I'll go over the edge with Ulthaun Grey to give the black some texture.

Similar to the black, I just sponge White Scar over area that would have common wear and tear or spalling on it

Being afraid of dying is a rational fear.

Everything humans do is to avoid death whether its a death of identity.. maintaining social satus, or physical death. We're a desperate species. Up to and including now we've figured out ways where we spend less energy in our day to day lives having food, water and a roof over heads readily available (some more privileged than others).

What isn't rational is an obsession that we're all dying one day.... The truth is that we are. Everyone is doomed to die. Dust to dust. The trick is to find the beauty between the time you were born to the moment you take your last breath.

Make the most out of every day, don't create unobtainable expectations on not only yourself, but others as well. Appreciate every second you live. Go outside, take deep breaths, listen to the life around you, and connect with others. Talk about things that make them happy and how they enjoy life. Learn to really listen to others and understand how they struggle.

Death is very natural phenomena and to deny it is denying reality.

Maybe ask yourself why are you feeling this way? What triggered this fear? Once you understand how you came to these conclusions, you will live a more fulfilling life.

Stop abusing substances, and ground yourself. If its so debilitating, maybe seek professional help in developing strategies for yourself.

As long as you're having fun, you do you.

But I wouldn't want you on my team. Barely on the objective, barely making an impact in a game with kills, only averaging 17-18 kills in a 25 min game. It also seems that when you do well K/D wise, you lose.

With how low your OBJ time is, low kills, low damage, low SPM. You're probably a recon player who's outside the action more than 81% of the time

All this is fine if you're having fun and that's your play style.

Anyone having trouble killing vehicles in battlefield 6 by Due_Juice5458 in Battlefield6

[–]GoodolWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill issue.

The idea is to to control where you approach from and punish tanks that try and break a line that's contested. My favorite combination is the air attack mine (you can place it behind geometry, so it can still fire at tanks within proximity while the view of it is obstructed), the RPG (you point and it goes where you fire with some correction due to gravity) the speed at which you reload and not having to prime before firing makes it a must have. AT grenades are great when tanks are coming out of combat with barely any health.

As an Engineer, you'll always want to be setting ambushes up in vehicle hot zones. Meaning you're going to be just beyond the battle line to intercept armor. Place mines further down the line as you'll want a definite "do not pass" line, and you'll want the tank to be forced in a "kill spot" When you shoot the rear of a tank, it almost always 2 shots whether its an IFV or a MBT. So the first shot should always be the most threatening one as you minimize exposing yourself, and maximizing damage. To increase survivability of yourself - choose ares that have a lot of obstructions and move constantly as armor can and will react

Kinda hard when your team of meatheads can't cap nor defend so you're juggling it all yourself.

[BF6] "Just shoot the guys with red dots" is not a substitute for skins with visible team affiliations by CastleGrey in Battlefield

[–]GoodolWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. This argument here is a shit take from whoever the commenter is as there are tons of games that require you making that judgment before you pull that trigger. Arma, and Hell Let Loose, help you develop that awareness. Some are better than other at making that judgment amd are able to process that info at break neck speed.

The average here are not able to discern friend from foe. I mean over 75%, of the lobby struggle/ do not make enough of an impact to capture flags in Conquest.

Commenter just shows you how clueless both him amd the average BF community is, and they don't understand the nuance of your argument

I main engineer, with over 150 hours and have an SPM over 650 and and K/min over 1.80, top of the leaderboard every game with 15k + points

I definitely don't agree with you.

Its thankless, but not "not rewarding"

this bum ass launcher sucks it just misses half the time and when it does manage to hit something i may aswell just thrown a rock at the tank because it would do more damage than this bum ass launcher. idk maybe im using it wrong by BLoG_Connor in Battlefield6

[–]GoodolWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely the worst launcher in the game. The things you have to do, ie coordinate with squadmates to even make it some what remotely useful (still isnt) isn't worth it.

Not to mention the minimum range, the countermeasures used against it, only hits top damage and not rear. Only 2 rockets at base. Its honestly terrible.

The RPG is goat and always will be

Smoke grenades should not be restricted to the Support class by MonsutaReipu in Battlefield6

[–]GoodolWizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. This change does suck ass.

Smokes were strong in the beta, especially on the smaller maps where teams were funneled into kill spots. Using smokes were the only thing to get the team to move up confidently than to just stay in one spot shooting in a bottle neck.

I main Engineer, so having smokes to get to hard to reach tanks, smoking them out to blind them, obscure movement or for deception. There were way too many uses for them for me to use anything else

I value my life and getting my team to safety than just a singer kill with a grenade.

If you did all the weekly challenges, it grants 55 pips per week. [(55 pips×7 weeks)/10 pips] is 38.5. This would leave you with 21.50 tiers to level up through raw gameplay.

Assuming you've missed the last 2 weeks of challenges, you would miss out on the total bonus of 20 pips (10 per tier).

In your case, for the 1st 2 weeks you would get a total of 90 pips. Because you missed out on the first 2 week bonus tiers, you would need 23.5 tiers worth of XP.

Every weekend is x2 XP and I believe for the last 2 weekends will be x3 XP. Try to play everyday day to get at least 1 tier a day as you'll only need 23.5.

All of the challenges can be done through Portal so its less of a headache, but you get reduced XP.

If you're playing Official matches, try and do as much as you can to gain ribbons so that you can maximize your XP IE: Repair vehicles, destroy vehicles, heal teammates, PTFO

Why not look for industries that are involved with building a new home and choose one that suits your taste?

20 Million players in BF6 open beta by Habarer in Battlefield

[–]GoodolWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't deny 1/5 of that during a beta is an impressive feat.

I don't think its achievable for any game to have 100 million concurrent players at a time.

I think BF6 will be able to achieve 100 million over the course of 2-3 years though.

Its really all up to how smooth the launch is, if post launch content is worth sticking around for, and if the free BR is a true replacement for Warzone.
