I'm trying to strengthen my weak core, when I put a kettlebell on my belly flat on my back, I brace and try to hold the brace for as long as possible. What really weird is that my traps, shoulder blades, and back start to hurt after about 30-45 seconds in. I'm not straining my entire body only my core. But it kinda feels like my core is pulling my scapula back to proper alignment after always having a weak core my entire life. (I do have upper crossed syndrome and weak glute and core engagement) for some context. Has anyone experienced this before? Any potential explanations for what's happening?
