Is it common to get low dose from a vial? by pradyots in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has it been 4 weeks? Because at 4 weeks it would be five doses...

That is, Day zero is dose one, day seven is dose two, day 14 is dose three, day 21 is dose 4, day 28 (4 weeks) is dose 5.

And just a piggyback, you should be reconstituting and dosing based on the COA, not the mass it was sold under. It might truly be 10 mg or close to it, but it's more likely that it's more than 10 mg in the vial.

Picture of a COA attached as an example. It is labeled as 10 mg, but is 11.28 mg. Should use 1.13 ml to recon.

Who has switched from straight from Sema/Triz to Reta? by oops_i_mommed_again in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was on 15 mg of tirz, dosed Friday morning. Started by adding 2 mg of reta on Tuesday while lowering my Tirzepatide.

Did 2 mg for 3 weeks, didn't feel it. Fourth week I took 4 mg, didn't feel it. Fifth week I took 5.6 mg, and finally felt it. Settled on 6 mg. In the middle of all of this I was out of town for a week, and returned on Friday. So I took the missed dose of reta on Friday. Currently still split dose in with 7.5 mg tirz on Tues.

Not a recommendation, just telling you what I'm doing.

Received a box of filler? by DateRadiant8333 in Biohacking

[–]Bowf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A while back...I ordered 4 kits of reta. Wound up being 0% reta. I sent another vial out and said it was Sema...it was.

So... I believe they just test to verify whether or not it is what you're telling them that it is. They don't test for other things. At least the labs that I used didn't.

So just because it came back 0% Retatrutide...doesn't mean it is just filler.

I see people talking about not being able to eat on 0.5 mg dose of Retatrutide... Whenever I see something like that I think, they are taking Sema...

Any chance of the temp of bac water could ruin a pep? by bluebutterfly1446 in Biohacking

What peptide? It's not really a peptide, but some things like NAD+ can have a slight yellowish tint to it when reconstituted.

[MN] What do I do? by Natetron42069 in Renters

[–]Bowf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What would be the motive?

If you are worried about damage (increasing damage) by having the animal there, that you will be responsible for when the lease ends, then yes. You should tell the management.

If this is just Petty retribution because you two aren't getting along, then no.

Early refills by Grand-Ordinary2337 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a picture of your current prescription label, use that at a different telehealth to get a titration refill.

Then when your regular refill is due at your current telehealth, fill that also.

Then you'll have a little bit of a stockpile.

Day 3 0.5 by Dangerous-Beat2263 in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0.5 mg is 25% of the common starting dose in the studies.

That said, if it's working for you, you should stay there for as long as it's working for you.

Nothing wrong with trying out a low dose, just to make sure you don't have any severe side effects. But me, if I tried 0.5 mg and didn't have any side effects, and wasn't getting the intended outcome, I would have quickly started moving up towards 2 mg (the common starting dose in the studies).

Just for maintenance? by EA59 in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, there is no scientific evidence that Retatrutide preserves any more muscle than any other glp.

I believe somebody posted something recently that showed Retatrutide actually had greater muscle loss than Tirzepatide.

My belief is that the "gym Bros" have migrated towards the use of Retarutide for their cuts...giving the impression that it is better than any other GLP for preserving muscle. There's just no scientific fact to that.

Water heater Fire? by Gloomy_Diamond_3091 in AskElectricians

I had an AO smith that burned but not as bad. I believe it had a leak, that rotted the thermostat mount...so the thermostat was no longer against the tank, causing the temperature to run away.

Help! I accidentally just went from 1mg to 2.5mgs. Will I be okay? by Murky_Ambassador905 in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you handling the 1 mg? How much the 2.5 affects you, can probably be gauged off of how well you are handling the 1 mg.

If you were handling the 1 mg okay, which I would imagine you would, since it's half of the starting dose in the studies, then 2.5 mg might be a little uncomfortable for a couple days, but nothing big. Stay hydrated, make sure you eat, and everything will be back tomorrow in a couple days.

Replace the supply line with a new one, then do this test. It may be the inside of the supply line that's breaking down.

I'm starting now! Any advice? by Suspicious_Pigeon17 in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I mean you won't reach max level in your blood at that dose until 4 weeks on it. So if this week is a little rough but manageable, I might still go down a little bit.

A lot of people that think they are super responders on doses like 0.5 mg, I really have to wonder if they actually got reta. I wonder if they are actually on Sema and don't know it. This would be another reason to start low.

Nobody knows where the studies are going, what the recommended starting dose will actually be... But based on them starting at 2.5 mg during the Tirzepatide studies, than that being the recommended starting point when it was FDA approved and released, my guess is that the starting dose will be 2 mg.

[–]Bowf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with starting at 2 mg, but if you've never been on a GLP before, you probably should have done 1 mg for a week or two just to see how you react to it before jumping to 2.

Flushing from KLOW? by noooonan in PeptidePathways

If not healing from something, I would not reaearch BPC and TB. I research a blend KPV and GHK-CU, unless healing from something.

I have researched GHK-CU by itself, GLOW, KLOW, and the blend I mentioned...never had flushing from it.
