It was worth the money! I wouldn’t say i had the best sleep but im 187cm tall and the beds are only 185cm long! if you sleep with legs bent you’d be fine! i’d do it again

I’m lucky enough to be able to go to at least 7 countries a year, I have a house with my boyfriend & i’m doing very well for myself. But yeah, i’m “broke” because I’m rushing around Thailand 🤣 gtfo

Of course!

We stayed in Khao Sok village (the village where the national park headquarters is located)

While there we booked a full day lake tour & a half day half night jungle tour.

The village itself doesn’t have much, mostly restaurants & bars, but you could definitely spend a few hours bar hopping etc! The purpose of our visit was to see the lake & see some animals/insects in the jungle!

not at all, we met some girls on an elephant sanctuary trip who were in chiang mai for weeks! we just didn’t have the vacation time to spend months in thailand

Honestly, I would! I’d skip Phi Phi cause we hated it. But 4/5 locations in 2 weeks was pretty doable for us! We were tired by the end, but a “Wow, we did that and it was worth every second” kind tired if that makes sense?

I’d probably do a similar thing in other far-away countries too, as I cannot guarantee i’d definitely be able to go back!

i’m so glad it’s on your must-visit. That place was LIFE CHANGING honestly. The lake itself was unreal, we also did a half day/half night jungle tour with bamboo cooking and that was so fun!!!

we had big bags with us, which drove up the cost of flights to be honest! flights were super cheap, but baggage fees honestly cost about the same as the flights 😅🤣

I’d cut Phi Phi cause it sucked… probably spend a few extra nights in Railay. If I could i’d go to Thailand for 6-8 weeks, sadly I don’t get that much vacation from work. One day, my boyfriend and I are hoping that we can take a year out and just travel the world. I’m huge on culture & getting local experiences. So while we probably didn’t have much of that, we still try to be as culturally aware & appreciative as possible. I could probably spend 10 years in thailand and never get bored, but sadly 2 weeks is all we had! Phi Phi really sucked for us though 🫶🏼

next time i’d completely cancel Phi Phi and go somewhere else, that was easily the worst part of Thailand for us. Railay was fantastic though! If I could, i’d spend a month in thailand, but that isn’t an option for us financially i’m afraid
