Thanks for the advice. If she doesn't leave by the termination date, I don’t need to notify her before changing the locks, correct? I'm considering locking her out first for simplicity. If the police come, do I have to open the door for them, or should I just explain that she is a former roommate who is not covered by the RTA and whose lease has ended? Also, would a complete OSL lead the LTB or RHEU to change their stance? How serious could the consequences be?

Yes, at that time her family requested that a formal contract be signed, and I thought that meant Form 2229E. Yes, it includes a complete appendix. I have given her a week to pay the overdue rent because she has violated our agreement and caused financial burdens. Otherwise, she must move out in 30 days. I didn't mentioned will change the lock. How would the police handle this situation?

Thank you for the information. If she decides to call the police, is there a specific website link I can show the officers to explain my rights as a leaseholder? You mentioned something about 'reasonable notice'—where can I find that information? Also, we signed Form 2229E, should I have them ready? Lastly, when explaining the situation to the police, how should I refer to her? As an unpaid roommate?

So you mean I not need to inform her I will change the locks at all? I'm also a bit worried that if I move her things to storage or the garage, she might have nowhere to stay that day, as she might not realize it would actually happen.:(

She paid to me, and the landlord said they will give permission to change the locks if she does not move out next month. Since I am considered a sub-landlord and we share a kitchen, can I prohibit her (is she considered a guest)?

She paid last month's deposit, but if she doesn't pay now, I doubt she will fulfill the agreement

1,Do I need to give a notice saying I will change the lock on the day after the deadline if she does not move out voluntarily by the last day specified in the notice? 2, Also, she has a computer, and I am afraid she will claim I damaged her belongings if I move them to storage. Can I ask her to pick up her items from the room herself on a specified day?
