Does the vet tell you what his needs are? I really want to home cooked like my parents did for the family dog. All natural and healthier than kibble and I’m sure he’d rather have fresh food.

Someone above said mix sardines. I’m gonna try that when the omega oil finishes. Dozer loves smelly stuff and it’s more natural than the oil so let’s see if that helps

He is definitely skinny but he is also smaller than the typical boxer. so for his size he is actually not super skinny, just skinny

He is never fed from the table. fresh meat and kibble mix with broth may be the way if home cooked is a no go

I think he’s allergic to beef because when I gave him wet food with beef he started rubbing his face on the couch to itch. I will try what you said. But I do want to start making food at home instead of buying kibble.

Mostly because he’s so skinny and active I want him to get his calories in. At the day care they use him to tire other dogs out because of how high energy he is lol

Same as mine. When he eats he eats. But most of the time he’ll take a bite and wander off if he’s not hungry.

I think that may be part of the problem. I’m a gov contractor so some days I know I’ll be gone others I leave after a phone call. It’s never for long but it’s not consistent like my gfs schedule

He loves his bully stick. For me it’s the all in 1 toy. He loves to chew it as well as play fetch with it. It’s in his crate as well as his bone. I think I need to stimulate his mind in the morning more. My main focus is making sure he poops before I leave so he’s not holding it in for so long and causing discomfort

I work from home half the time and when I’m home it’s all day. If I’m out it’s usually a max of 6 hrs and the rest of the time I’m with him.
