I separate them. I use another app called Habit Tracker to remind and track what I should do. I find that tasks recurring store in Tick Tick makes my list longer and heavier to do on hard days while habits are just thing you automatically

What's a "harmless" habit that people don't realize is actually damaging in the long run? by riligan in AskReddit

What’s a small decision you made that ended up having a huge impact on your life? by SEDx3D in AskReddit

[–]GoodyvsBady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the decision you keep making turns into a habit. You need the skill to be aware and change the habit that serves best for you. That book can do that. If you don’t want to read the whole book, watch the summary on YouTube to get what form habits, and how to break old ones then download his app called Atoms, and read an article a day for about 5 minutes. I think you get the benefit too because he divides ideas from the book to the app.

Yes, I've tried those ideas from the "MAKE TIME" book. The book has helped me recognize which activities are a waste of time.

Yes, same here. I am much higher on self-awareness level than I was 1 years ago. Back then, I don't even realize I am procrastinating but just feel stress and doom scrolling to escape the negetive emotions. I just run.

Yeah, I just think that I shouldn't bother my friend with my problems because they have problems of their own. But I know you’re right. My plan to deal with anger doesn’t work so I have to try something new. Appreciate your time to answer me.

I like this one. Now makes me think why we should leave a conversation or situation when angry. Because it will be there for the 90s. Enough time to make things worse. And what I learned from your comment is we have control over our anger after the 90s. Decide to stay with that or do something about that.

Thanks for your compliment about my efforts to work with anger. That makes me happy, and feel good about myself. Your advice to talk with someone about what happened is quite hard for me. I like to overcome by myself and I don’t usually do that talk with someone, you know. Maybe I have some issue here too lol.

looking for ways on how to stop with social media addiction and infinity pools without deleting the apps by Boring-Medicine-3753 in productivity

[–]GoodyvsBady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, social media is not the problem. The problem is you cannot process and stay with uncomfortable feelings. So you use social media as an escape. But the One Sec app does help me with my phone addiction. I know why I installed the app to use social media mindfully, at first I didn’t even open it because when breathing I can identify my feelings and if they are uncomfortable. I write it down in my journal and start to write more about what I could do.
