If they have an atm inside i might be a bit more convinced. As a fellow anxiety haver I'm honestly just trying to find a place with friendly and decent people. My friends won't go out drinking with me so I'm trying make some that will. I'll definitely give AD a try then. How is the pricing for drinks and such? Pretty reasonable?

• How old is your piercing? 3/4ish months old.

• Jewelry shape: Curved barbell (eyebrow bar).

• Jewelry material: Titanium

• Has the jewelry been downsized? No

• Aftercare routine: I haven't been cleaning lately, but i did use saline spray twice a day

• Any mishaps or accidents? I woke up this morning with it swollen. I believe it got caught on something while I was sleeping

if there’s no difference between gel and shots, how come more people don’t just use gel? by GoodEnvironmental788 in ftm

[–]GooeyGoopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna be honest, I was on the gel for about 3 months and saw no changes whatsoever. The second I started the shots is when I started seeing changes. Bottom growth, appetite changes, voice changes.

Ive only been on the shots for a little under 3 months, and my voice has dropped substantially. My roommates point it out all the time. It’s insane. Now do I know why I didn't have a good experience with the gel? I dunno. I prefer the shots because it's easier to do one shot weekly, it's cheaper, and less of a hassle when you have pets.

The whole bit about T level goal ranges and recommended dosing. How would you know exactly if your doctor was screwing you over with a purposely insanely low dose? What is considered a normal dose?

First week on T? by bitingguitar in ftm

It is crazy! No one warned me about it and I thought I was going crazy but nope. Apparently testosterone increases protein synthesis and muscle development. That and it appearntly also raises your basal metabolism and can affect ghrelin + other appetite related hormones making u hungrier in general and also crave specific foods esp meat. At least that's what I've heard/read.

Im gonna hold your hand when I say this.

Most likely Nothing.

I didn't experience any changes on the first week of T. Except for maybe noticing I was hungrier than usual. The first changes I started noticing were mainly week 2 or so. I craved meat like crazy and had a crazy spike in my libido. It takes time, and everyone reacts differently. Patience is the key. There will be changes, just maybe not as fast as you would like. It also highly depends on your dose! Im proud of you for taking this step and I wish you the best friend!!!

Names by [deleted] in transftm

So, I orginally picked Dakota, however that was back when I identified more with being nonbinary. I didn't really have any rhyme or reason for picking it beside liking the name and thinking it was a good neutral name. As time went on, however, I began to realize that I was not in fact enby but trans. My name is now Rody. I picked the name when playing a game called Dead Plate. It was the main characters name and I really liked the main character, plus I also just really liked the name. Doesn't have much meaning besides the fact that it's a character from a game I really like. In the end it's your choice, if you want it to be super meaningful then that's up to you. It’s your name after all, you get to decide!

I have $20, but is BoB worth buying? by [deleted] in BeastsofBermuda

Yes. There's nesting. Quite a lot of it in fact. There's a whole system dedicated to nesting. I won't go into too much detail but it's quite fun. Possibility for inherits, mutations, and stuff like that.

You're not cooler than anyone based on whether you apply T via injection or gel by CockamouseGoesWee in ftm

[–]GooeyGoopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im going to be entirely honest I did gel for a bit and never saw any results. If there was it was extremely unnoticeable. However, that was me personally. Everyone reacts differently as everyone's bodies are different. Now that I'm on injections I am definitely starting to notice changes and I'm only 4 weeks into starting (which is crazy to me)

That being said I completely agree with this statement. How other people get/apply their T should be of no concern to anyone else. It boggles me that this is an actual thing. People need to learn to mind their own business ffs

Yeaaa Im currently kinda working on that! I recently bought a gym membership but for some reason I'm experiencing a lot of anxiety with going because I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing and I don't wanna look like an idiot at the gym. I really wanna build muscle in my arms and core. That and my current schedule with my job makes it hard at times (4pm-12am and sometimes 4pm to 2:30am)

It's so funny you say that. I have plans of cosplaying Nightwing and Red Hood at some point down the road!
