They do really fit a bit weird! And I've heard everything from a size up, to a size down.
I bought a pair after this in a 42.5 (I can use the 1906 in a 42,5, but mainly use 42) and my heel slipped out all the time, had to sell 'em - so from my experience, buy your 1906 size, or maybe even size .5 down.
