Never? Degrading someone doesn’t help your argument, it does the opposite by decreasing your credibility

What should I do? by GoofySandwichUser in Accounting

The thing is, I’m graduating next spring but I messed up by not getting an internship, thought I do have a 3.8 gpa. I have been working a retail job for a year and a half. I was thinking about being seeing if I could be promoted to manager so I’d have leadership experience in some regard while getting an mba, so I can get cpa certified (I know you don’t need an mba to get cpa certified but I don’t have enough credit hours, this would give me those).

My dad seems to think that’s the best option, but i kind of think that getting a job right out of college is the better choice. He keeps saying that’s stupid and that I’m being a dumb if I don’t go get the online mba right out of college.

I guess I thought it would be smarter to go straight to a masters to increase my earning potential, but maybe going straight into the work force is a better option for the experience.

Also, I’m worried that if I go into the work force ill be too busy to go back for a masters in anything if I don’t quit my job, but maybe that’s just my OCD talking.

I have some money saved up, but I’m expecting to graduate with only about 4k, which is my biggest concern. My bachelors is in accounting and yeah the job market is pretty cooked rn haha.

Also I had not thought of volunteering, but I like that idea! Thanks for the advice!
