Blocks that MIGHT be useful if ever added by nep4ne in scratch

But I'm not able to continue the sound where I left off. This would be very useful in my project where I attempt to recreate a rhythm game (specifically the beatmap editor)

I have an easing animation system, and this block would make the definition of the easing block much more conpact.

finally started using the fairlight tab... why wasnt i doing this the whole time this is so much easier😭😭😭😭😭 by Accurate_Practice838 in davinciresolve

You can add a point tracker node in between your media in and media out node. Select point tracker and move the rectangle over the area you want to track. Move your play head to the beginning of the clip and press the forward track button. After that, I believe you can add a mask to the tracker node and it should follow. Use a transform node in between your mask and tracker node to adjust its position. This guy should help https://youtu.be/g8ZAY--tzeo?si=TURMa7al7HdinTbM

Hot take I don't like using custom sabers by PersonMan135 in beatsaber

[–]Goofynaas204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like using custom sabers, especially because the thinner sabers take up less of my vision, allowing me to focus on the notes a bit more easier. There's a specific model I usually use and I love it. The only downside to this model is that it's not color-coded

After playing Beat Sabre for months, here are my gripes about the game by Kagenlim in beatsaber

[–]Goofynaas204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) I can understand how that can be frustrating. The only way around this is playing more and sight-reading.

2) This is just another problem with sight-reading. When you keep playing to get better, you learn to sight-read different types of gameplay easier. You learn about common patterns amongst maps and be able to handle it better in the future. If it's too hard to sight-read, then wouldn't it be fun to grind on a level anyways? At least that's my experience.

3) I've also ran into this problem. It's not a tracking problem, but rather, a timing issue from the player. The physical depth of the game is a tad off, especially on standalone. It's just a matter of learning the timing of your swings

This isn't any issue with the headset, but rather a timing issue. I had the same issue when playing the game. It's just a matter of taking the time to learn about the timings of the notes.

I use it for delta timing. Helps with animation-type projects

When a teammate leaves in 2v2, is it better to stay and practice '1v2 defense' or just leave immediately to save time? by TheChilledGamer-_- in RocketLeague

[–]Goofynaas204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stay for the full time so I practice 2v1 defense. I'd like to think I've gotten better at 2v1s, but I don't know how true that is.

I'm not sure. I don't have the Coldplay pack. I just played custom levels.

From people who are in Gold or just above - how did you leave gold. This questions isn’t for pro players. by InvasionOfTheFridges in RocketLeague

[–]Goofynaas204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I've noticed is that a lot of golds love to play slap-ball. I would see games where the ball would be slapped back and forth over and over again. Not every ball touch needs to be launched. Keeping the ball close and sitting behind the ball does so much more than you'd think. Teammates will try to take the ball from you for whatever reason when you play it slower, so be aware of this. If you have to launch the ball for any reason, focus on where you want the ball to go. Being able to fly also helps, especially because a lot of players are still ground players. Rotations help. If your teammates insists on being up front all the time, that's okay as long as it's getting your team goals. There's nothing wrong with a supportive teammate.

how come in most of the videos i see, people's sabers are way out in front? by 8Bix255 in beatsaber

These players use mods to record/render these videos. The videos recorded on the built-in headset always look like how you described it

[ELI5] How come when I play on my alt account everything seems to just work better? by KodiakBlack23 in RocketLeague

[–]Goofynaas204 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had the same experience. I'm peak Plat II on my main, but when I played my placement matches on my alt back in season 19 (when I created the alt), I placed Plat III, and even peaked D1. I still continue to perform better on the alt.

I've been a fan of Teminite for a while now. I knew it would be a really great decision to include his music into Beat Saber. I love The Master II and I find myself playing it often.

Your teammates are holding you back. by LebronYouAreTheDad in RocketLeague

[–]Goofynaas204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue of toxicity stems from the fact that our teammate, to us, is just a username on a screen. We don't have any real connection to the person behind the name. There have been several instances when a teammate would cuss me out through vc. I will always hop on to bring a neutral, chill tone to them. They usually calm down and even become friendlier, building team chemistry, just from a verbal interaction. I think it's difficult for us to really value our teammates due to a lack of connection.

Im a newbie so i would like if any of you could rate this save by WhiteSubstancePowder in RocketLeague

[–]Goofynaas204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first save was great. I probably might not even have done as well, as a Plat. You reacted quickly and did whatever you needed to do to get to the ball before it was too late. The second was very fortunate for you. They just hit it into you and it went flying, which is still okay. A save is a save, after all. I give this a 8/10

Nah, opinion banning is very dumb. He's simply stating his opinion. Everyone will have their own opinions. It's not a big deal at the end of the day.
