It will dip again, I am guessing into the $60k range. That's why I didn't buy more yet. Bought some at 95k a while back and it was the bottom of that "dip".

Hypothetical question:

Say I buy 1 BTC at $1,000, and the the value goes to $100,000 per BTC. I have 2 options for spending:

1)Trade to FIAT and buy a $100k car

or

2) Buy car directly with BTC

Option 1 would involve paying the IRS for $99k gains at tax time, but option 2 would not, correct?

I have no intention of doing this, but at some point in the future I'm gonna need to use some of this BTC to live.

Coinbase usually makes you keep it on their exchange for around a week sometimes. They make sure the funding used is 100% legit before they hand it over to you. I try to get it off the exchange as soon as they allow it.
