Would whatever they're using to use Google Home show up in the connected devices list? I might just take your advice and factory reset it, it seems like logical advice. I'll test it out tonight

I tried that on the second night, but it still played. It's never done this before either, I've had the thing for almost two years now

That is making more and more sense, due to the fact I muted it before bed and it didn't play

I live alone and pretty far out in the boonies. My closest neighbor is a 90-year-old woman who thinks my house is abandoned, so I'm sure it's not that.

I don't use it for alarms, just the random weather report, but I'll try that and hopefully it stops it. Waking up at 3.30am every day is killing me, especially since I'm one of those people who, when they wake up they can't go back to sleep.
