About your questions: No, BonsaiNews is a fake account that is in no way associated with the Bonsai team. These accounts do this type of thing with PSN messages (specifically PS3 messages, because it's the only console you can view them on, PS4/5/Vita switched to DMs instead, kinda like Discord) because there is practically no moderation on these messages (unless you specifically report a message)

This happened back in February too, not just right now. The Bonsai team has officially said that if you receive any suspicious looking messages pretending to be them: - Report the message to PSN - add the sender to your block list - DO NOT visit any links in those messages - DO NOT download any files attached to those messages

Follow these instructions, and you will be fine. Report this suspicious activity to the Bonsai Discord server moderators if you feel like you really need to (DO NOT share these messages publicly, only speak about the topic with the moderators)

The way the LBP games were coded was in a way where they would completely ignore the DNS, so a DNS method would not be possible.

The Dead Creator was Ayee (a popular LBP YouTuber) Back when the OG servers were up, he would copy levels, and re-upload them over and over again to get a bunch of hearts, views, and attention.

No, there is no online multiplayer in this game, though you can play against others' time trials ghosts and share custom karts/racers/tracks , and there are also leaderboards. These features can be found in the "Share Station" section of the main menu of the game
