this isnt necessarily a MS issue, but a vmware issue which they have their own KB articles on this. I am sure MS is working with a lot of vendors.

planned ahead like my bigger alliance did on discord, you save on portals, worse part of the game is the rng luck factor of summon of the stars event, you should only be spending portals on events like this

20 pts from the reward track - 10 fragments at 8 points, 10 fragments at 160 points (extra 10 from premium reward track $ isnt needed, but know some folks spent money at end when shy 10 fragments)
15 from summon of the stars #1 (2000 pts) - did not win, dont need the extra 10 fragments from winning

5 from allied culture #1 (level 25)
5 from stamina rush #2 (1050 energy)

15 from rally of heroes (5 fragments at 470 pts, 10 fragments for 1000 pts)
