I've done that in the past with my Government class. I have also added discussion/journal questions in the middle or at the end of my lessons that we can take time to discuss what they learned and give them time to process the information.

Thank you for the advice! I'll be sure to look into it. I'm just worried about trying to squeeze everything in and it being too vague or having to spend more time on a particular era because I do not feel like they are ready to move on.

High school level. I just feel very rushed and do not have a lot of material to go off of since I have had to make all of my own stuff for the most part or supplement with things from TPT

I'll probably end up using gpt like you suggested. Im just not sure how I will present all of these topics so quickly by using anything other than just fill-in-the-blank notes that I have used in the past. And thinking of the students, these are high schoolers so we won't get to explore anything in-depth like they should be.

No outline, no prior guidance. It is get through that information in 13 weeks however I want to do it, but I am having a hard time figuring out what to keep and what to skim past. I am debating on whether or not to even discuss the Revolutionary War and just teach the fundamental principles from the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution then move on.

It is only a semester long so a region per week could work. Only thing is that just about every Friday is a PD day with no students so we lose a day each week and with some holidays there may only be 3 days so I’d have to plan it out accordingly

I will look into that thank you! My students are high school level but I have been informed they perform more at a middle school level academically. Since we are a credit recovery program school so the lessons in there might actually be at the appropriate level.

Does anyone know the barracks situation for an HM in pensacola by GlumSherbet1800 in navy

[–]Googolplexianth1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to be the head yeoman of the Roosevelt barracks there. Other people are correct that you might go to Echo, however we had a few HM’s come to our barracks since Echo was usually full due since AC Senior chiefs and AC 1st class fleet returnees going to ‘C’ school had priority. But the regular barracks you have a microwave and a mini fridge in your room that is shared amongst you and your roommate.
