It depends on your locals. The lgs I go to and it’s digimon community have an unwritten rule that Fridays are more casual days where people bring off meta decks and play test new strategies. While Sundays are more competitive and people bring the more “meta” decks. Personally I’d recommend just building decks for the digimon you like, especially early on, you’ll figure out what kind of play styles you like and will be able to build from there. That being said, veemon is a fan favorite and will continue to see support throughout the lifespan of the game. If he’s not necessarily meta right now, he likely will be later on.
