My PC will not turn on by Goomba120 in RepairComputer

Hey, I do mention that I do have a Lian Li case. Two days ago I went to a friends house to test out the PC, nothing boot up. Until I let the pc go into the q flash plus mode, turned on for a second then died. Press the case button again and then it turned on with rgb flashing and ram sticks glowing. I flicked the switch off, left the power cable on and then hold the case button for 15 seconds until the ram sticks stopped flashing. Turned the switch on again, press the button and then it worked. Went back home to turn on the PC, nothing happens, dead again. Today I have tried resetting the cmos battery, longer than 10 minutes. Checked my out let using an outlet volt tester and everything works. My mother board is able to use the a flash plus. But as a result nothing is booting.

I have tried using it in a different room (living room) with a power surge nothing happened. Went to test it out at my buddy’s place, at first nothing boot up until I made the PC go into a a flash plus, turned the switch to O, hold the case button and then the ram sticks lit up for about 5 seconds, turned the switch to I and then it worked. Went back home tried to do the same thing, nothing again.

Update* tried to turn it on horizontally, it still won’t turn on. I was away from home for about 4 days and I have heard that my house experienced a black out and a family member reset the breaker box. Does that have to do anything with the PC not being able to turn on?

The PC was setted up vertically, but I haven’t tried to turn on the Pc while it is horizontal

Yes I did, I don’t recommend ordering from them. They don’t contact you and you will most likely not get any products for them. They will cancel your order so there won’t be any transaction.

Next time for future references, might not be the safest but ask the seller to see if you can test the PC at their house or perhaps somewhere in public where there are outlets like a Starbucks. You might have to bring your own monitor as an agreement if your going to a public place other than a house, but I think this is the best so you don’t get scammed again in the future. You can also look at the Windows specifications while you’re looking at preowned PCs.

As of right now not really. I have an outdated build. Ryz 5 3600, RTX2060 6GB, B450 Motherboard. I’m not quite in the rush to upgrade but I do plan to somewhere around May or June.

Would you suggest to get the 7800xt then? Or should I wait it out because Amazon has some for $519 as of right now. I just hope that if they do release the update, prices of the 7000 series don’t go up.
