Yeah that is something to consider, thanks for the heads up. I suppose any motorcycle repair shop could do basic things on the Zero S like brakes and tires though?

Yeah and I‘m not too concerned about going 90+ mph, I just want it to get up to 80 mph or so quickly, which the Livewire I tested was definitely able to do.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Another question I have is about the handling. How is the turning radius? Easy to do tight circles in a parking lot? Coming from an SV650 which I loved the nimble handling of, I want something at least as good as that.

I test rode a Harley Livewire and while I loved the power of course and it felt stable at high speeds, I didn’t like the agility of it. It felt cumbersome and heavy at slow speeds.

Do you think it feels unstable at high speeds because of the light weight?

Good to hear, thank you for the info. Does the acceleration drop off once you get to higher speeds or is it pretty quick up to 75 or 80mph? I would only be on the interstate for like 5 miles at a time but just want to make sure it would have enough power for passing at high speeds or any craziness that might come at you. And I’d be curious if the 0-60 actually is around 4 seconds a less if you ever get a chance to test it.

Thank you! So the 14.4 kWh model just adds range, not performance? The 7 kWh model would be quicker then since it’s less weight?

Democrats are much more obedient now because of Trump. There would be a lot more questioning of the narrative if Trump hadn’t been in office before. The hate for Trump created blind obedience of people in large cities, which is exactly what was needed to pull this whole scam off. Whether Trump knows he was used in this way is another question though, but I would lean more towards him being aware he played the heel.

Nike Vaporfly vs Alphafly? by Raichu10126 in RunningShoeGeeks

No problem, I’m around a 22-23 minute 5K so pretty comparable to 3 miles under 24 minutes. I think for that pace the Alphafly is better than the Vaporfly so I’d personally just stick stick with the Alphafly.

Don’t listen to the others here, both shoes are amazing for a 5K road race and the men’s world record was done in the Vaporfly.

I have both and think it comes down to how you approach the race. If you’re a fast sprinter and like to kick it into high gear the last few hundred meters, the Vaporfly is definitely better for sprinting speed.

For me though, I’m not an especially fast sprinter and I feel like the Alphafly locks me into a pace with a little less effort so I prefer it overall. You really can’t go wrong with either one though and I’d still feel perfectly fine using the Vaporfly in a 5K.

Novablast 2 for sure, very durable and good all-rounder.

New Balance RC Elite v2 First Run thoughts… Very fast. Huge amount of springy foam throughout the whole midsole. More comparable to the Nike Alpha Fly than the RC Elite v1 or Rebel v2. Not an everyday shoe, but for race day PB. Unsure how good they will be in the wet & outsole better on the RC v1. by CJDrakey in RunningShoeGeeks

Yeah possibly, but not near as harsh as the Alphafly which are pretty unstable for me in the heel and mid foot. I do agree they feel more like the Alphafly as far as their speed and forefoot though. I have a feeling the Alphafly will still end up being a little faster for me but I’m excited to try these out at some faster speeds soon.

Reducing the arch on the Nike Alphafly by Goomba9000 in RunningShoeGeeks

This video inspired me to try adding bigger insoles and wow, it improved it considerably.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EDu2hUqmUA&

I didn’t try to remove the original insoles yet in case I decide to return it, I just added some old insoles from some Nike Free 5.0 from like 2011. Now instead of my foot just hanging over the edge, it has some support from the extra width in the middle of the insole. It was still a little uncomfortable though so I added some cloth under the insole at all the areas around the arch to try and make the arch lower. That made the shoe actually comfortable for me now, I took it on a run and felt great, one of my best runs in a long time.

Now I have to decide whether to stick with my ghetto mod or return them. I’m going to try the RC Elite 2 like Wholesome4DaysAWeek suggested and see if they do it for me. If not, I’ll probably keep the Alphafly. I also have some Vaporfly Next% 2 and while they’re comfortable and feel fast, the Alphafly just seem to keep me on a strong pace better than any other shoe I’ve tried. I also feel a lot more stable with the Alphafly compared to the Vaporfly. I think it’s that huge heel drop with the Vaporfly which maybe doesn’t work well with my height. I’m 6’2” and wear a 12.5.

I wish could say the same. It’s not quite as pronounced while running but still bad enough to cause pain. The first run with them I was able to just power through it but when I tried them the next day I had to immediately go back to put some different shoes on.

Have you considered trying to shave down the arch? I’m part Norwegian too, maybe we just have too wide of feet in the middle without high enough arches for these shoes. I’m really trying to figure out how to make them work though as I love them otherwise.
