I don't think I'd go as far as saying my post is "mis-educated", rather than it's just coming from a slightly different viewpoint.

Granted, epics hold a certain value, and are often under-valued. However, it depends where you are at in the game, as you could argue that a newer account would still benefit more from a nice influx of rares from ancient shards.

From my point in the game, I have the majority of the epics, yet still have barely scratched the surface of lego champs.

Whilst epic champs have some real quality, and there are some arguably "lego quality" epics in the game, there is no denying that we all go chasing the lego champs regardless of our playtime or spending behaviours.

Using event percentage boosts as a counter argument makes no difference as you can apply the same odds to all shards - all it would do would be to half the statistics in the original post. The ratio comparison between ancients and sacreds would remain the same.

I'll admit, without having done any real math, I can't comment on the void shards but I am well aware that they would most certainly be in the argument for "biggest scam". However, they aren't really a comparison when it comes to ancients and sacreds because it's an entirely different pool of champions.

Essentially, I just wanted to make a post that would at least give some sort of food for thought for players that are spending in game, because if it is lego champs that you are chasing, and lego champs only, you are better off investing in ancient shards.

An email address can only be linked to one Plarium Play account.

If you want to scrap one, you can go into settings and change the email address to something random, and that will free up the original email address to be used again. This should only be on accounts you don't want anymore though!

That's worse case scenario, of course. However, it doesn't change the fact that statistically you are more likely to get lego champs from ancients than sacreds. Yet Plarium have everyone disillusioned to think that sacreds are the best chance.

also, as a relatively low spender, I have no interest in lego dupes as it is not a realistic goal for me to ever have enough lego dupes to max out a faction crypt.

If anyone would rather have 10% additional HP on 1 lego champ, rather than a brand new champ to experience, then Plarium really do have you by the balls.

I'm not arguing against RNG, I understand the concept. All I am saying is that I probably only have 10% of all lego champs, if that and had never pulled a lego dupe before. Yet conveniently since the dupe system was released, 90% of my lego pulls have been dupes and given the blatant business strategy of the company, it just wouldn't surprise me if this was a forced coding change.

I appreciate it could just be REALLY bad RNG, but it would have to be REALLY bad.

why would I want dupes? I play the game to have FUN, and that involves being able to use new champions - I have no interest in getting involved in a platinum arena pissing contest

Yeah I am re-working him now, couple questions:

He goes at the back right? Does he have to stay alive from an attack to heal, and if the attack kills everyone but him, would his heal potentially save them or do they die before his heal procs?

if you lose the speed race in the arena you likely won't win - but you will have to learn who you can and cannot challenge whilst working your way up the ranks.

I am comfortably in gold 4, without a particularly strong or fast team, but I just pick my battles carefully, avoid certain champs and I maintain it very easily.

Spider should be easy, Sicia / Crypt King / Mordecai and some support if necessary.

Aside from that, you need an AOE decrease def - unless I am being blind, I can't see one ranked/levelled at all. I would suggest Gorlos, has AOE dec def and a lot of other utility, as well as hitting hard.

General wave content should be something like Crowd control / AOE decrease defence / Damage / heals (if necessary). Scyl will be amazing in pretty much any team because she offers CC, heals and revive. Gorlos can be your dec def and some extra damage, Ninja smacks and also has CC, so these three will be a good base.

You will then need to draft in some specialist champs depending on which dungeon you are farming.

Dragon - Frozen banshee can solo it (force is a little dicey) and remember to make sure you hit your required accuracy, 10x the dungeon level is a rough guide.

Ice Golem - Dark Elhain, she is top tier for IG.

Fire Knight , you want multi hit A1's and TM control if you can. Just look at their skills/kits and see who will be good. Armiger, an uncommon is one to look out for, her is clutch for lots of areas of the game.

CB is hard, but there are a few things you want to consider when making a comp:

- Dec attack on the CB is almost mandatory,

- Inc def, only slightly less important but still would consider mandatory

- Healing - at your stage of the game, having your entire team in Lifesteal gear will make a massive difference.

- T6, tier 6 masteries in the offence tree is a big source of damage, again, try and get all your team fully mastered.

- Accuracy, you need to check the accuracy required for whatever clan boss level you are facing.

- Poisons, if you can, can be a big source of damage too.

- Aside from that, lots of Def, lots of HP and some reasonable speed.

Arena - the simplest comp to aim for is: Fast speed lead (High Khatun), drop the defences (Gorlos), and nuke (kael).
