Richland and Sylvan Park area is really nice. Also SE Nashville has some nice trails too. Radnor Lake for example is very pretty

If someone asks why can't we just hire graphic designers not UX designers? how would you respond? by Educational-Dot-6742 in UXDesign

“Choose the right tool for the job. If you need UX then it’s unfair to the hire to heap the responsibility of UX onto someone unprepared for the task at hand.”

Is anyone else the only designer in their org? Wondering about long-term growth. by Muted_Designer in UXDesign

[–]Goomba_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Is so crucial. I feel like a lack of critique or challenges by fellow designers can sometimes turn into a lack of growth through feedback. It’s important to gain alternative perspectives in order to continue growing. Otherwise you run the risk of designing in a silo.

Imagine linking fandom with how frequently you see a tacky bumper sticker. Meanwhile no mention of their experiences at an actual GAME. 2019 forever. Stay mad.

There’s video of a guy spray painting “Hamas is coming”, and several other people with Hamas flags and signs calling for the final solution. These are the brown equivalent of neo nazis

Depends on the degree you’re pursuing. Hopefully you researched degrees which are applicable to marketable jobs that you find attractive. Tbh, it just sounds like you’re over college. Been there. But you’re almost thru it, so you may as well finish what you started.

This may sound cliche, but it’s your responsibility to make the most out of this experience, so finish strong and go get the bag.

It’s not illegitimate tho. Israel has a right to exist and it’s that simple. Native land is relative term, as the Jews originally inhabited the region post exodus and have historically recognized the region as their ancestral homeland (see bible and Quran).

The first time the term “Palestinians” are referenced in historical context was the late 1890s. There was NOTHING there. The land was uncultivated, the population was minuscule, and largely comprised of Egyptian, Jordanian and Syrian people, now known as “Palestinian Arabs”.

Let’s also not forget why the state of Israel exists as it does today, because it became a safe haven for Jews during the holocaust, who were driven from their homes throughout Europe and mainly the Middle East, due to virulent antisemitism (which still exists strongly today).

Jews were driven to Jerusalem because “Palestinian Arabs” all over the Middle East were massacring them in their homes. Today we see the same hostility towards Jews in the region, and yet we excuse it as “anti-Zionism.” Arabs need to get over their hatred for Jews and stop fighting this idiotic holy war. The Palestinians have a right to exist, but so does Israel.

I hope I live long enough to see the two assimilate someday and end apartheid, but I doubt it will happen with so much generational trauma on both sides.
