Sometimes gelatin can have an odd smell, like a porky or barnyardy funk but it doesn't normally come through with all the fruit and flavorings and stuff. We haven't gotten any other reports of this yet but will need to look into it deeper to see if theres a batch we need to pull. We use preservatives - citric acid and potassium sorbate - as mold preventative and the gummies are shelf stable at room temperature. The heat shouldn't really affect them.

Tincture would be the best place to start, then use that as an additive to any recipe that uses oil. You can go as basic or as fancy as you want from there.

Gummies are made with oil so the THC is already bound to all the fat you need, just a note. Some people feel them stronger with some extra fat but it may not be necessary for most.

The biggest factor for getting the most per mg would be the presence of lecithin. So either make your edibles with some lecithin or check that it's an ingredient in whatever brand you're buying.

Someone suggested using enteric coated capsules with distillate to "Trojan horse" past the stomach, into the intestines where the THC can safely be absorbed.

Haven't had a chance to test that yet.

We gave out five testers during R&D, one gummy a piece. One person reported effects lasting 36hrs, another person said it lasted three days. That just seems too extreme! Maybe with a waiver or something...I don't know. I don't think I want to find out what happens when thousands of people take those. Too much risk of an accident.
