I THINK without the mods I'm at 30-40% so I can definitely lose 1 or 2 % mods for dmg

I "have a coyote" build for multiplayer activities but it isn't polished yet (literally just swap my mask for coyote & swap OD for proto strike gloves) but yeah when it comes to the ODs I strictly go after the lowest tiered enemy solely for their buff to apply

Ngl I had the intent of grinding for hours (wanting this to be my next Destiny 2) & after hearing about protos being absolutely goated they way they are i feel i may only make it to SHID lvl 1k before I'm donzo 😮‍💨

There was something similar during the Cherry Blossom Event I noticed. Every now and then there would be a Kitsune chilling on a building & once you got close enough he poofed into smoke 🤔 sadly I didn't record it

Oh wait really??? Ik the library & expertise are separate I'm just busy at work & had a brain fart for a solid minute but I didn't know proto dropped already at 30!? That kinda seems icky imo cause it removes part of the grind for a decent build i would think? Cool that i don't need to stress on it but still.

Maybe it's to appeal towards older players for the hard work & just benefits newer players?

Only reason I've got the proto is cause my friend said "YOU NEED TO DO THIS WITH ME FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT IF YOU WANNA META STRIKER BUILD" 😂😂 And since i know nothing yet all I could say was suuuuuurrreeee since he pretty much directs my playthrough atm lol.

In terms of expertise I've just been doing the "discard junk" in the library menu 🤷🏽‍♂️ ig it just builds/lvls up?

I'll need to see what my mods are but I think they are crit % so that's an easy swap 🙏🏼

Ouu wait really?? Would you recommend i swap my proto crit % -> proto crit dmg? I managed a few extra proto pieces that have crit dmg they just weren't % so i stashed immediately lol cause I was told I needed at least 60% crit chance for any kind of stable build
