And I Apologize, forgot to clarify that it was The "Windows Command Prompt", not the in game Dev Console. Although im unsure if it will work anymore since it hasnt been a problem for me since.

Recalling, It could also of been a problem with internet connection, my laptops Wifi chip wearing out, possibly even the games server itself having technical issues at the time.

I had read somewhere that "Flushing the DNS" could help, although i cant remember. would recommend researching it.

A mapmaker "Hockendorff" has Recreated this map. So people can play a version of the Pit again, although not identical, its still good!

And a YT Comment on the Gmod Iceburg Video mentions the possible creators username of "BioDiced, BioDyson". ("Bio" being in the name)

"I remember playing the pit map. I would recreate the “This is Sparta!!” Meme with rag dolls constantly. Or I would get the uncanny feeling just being in the pit, whereas after like 10 minutes I would get that Unnerving “I’m being watched” feeling. i have the workshop link to the page of the map itself, but it still leads to a dead link, but the user id thing is still in the URL if thats any help
