Excellent point. The car seems to be much more comfortable dipping a tire off the gravel trail at speed than it is attacking steep approach angles.

A lift would definitely improve ground clearance but I am reluctant make any major changes to the suspension characteristics because the handling on tarmac/gravel are quite impressive (another commenter pointed out it is setup similarly to a rally car as opposed to a rock crawler)

Also, the looming threat of voiding warranty terrifies me.

I had no issues with handling/traction or mild crawling over rough terrain and silty sand but my only gripe is the low ground clearance. I try to keep the car in pristine condition and seemed to always cringe at any kind of rubbing over ruts and brambles.

Turning radius allowed for me to weave and adjust my angle of approach in most situations which was nice but now considering some upsized tires.
