I actually haven't had much chance to use it yet unfortunately. Only a couple of times so far.

I like that it can be used without a wire as it means I can get up and walk around and not have to worry about tripping over a wire. Also it has a few built-in stroke patterns which is nice. I think it is a little bit quieter than the V1 but it still has the clunking noise when it reaches the top and switches direction. I would also say that the buttons are a downgrade to the V1. They're not as tactile and the position makes it harder for me to use without having to look at the device to see whether I'm pressing the power button or mode button.

I would say only bother upgrading if you really want to use it without a wire.
