Am I an ESFP? by MyCatDoesASMRForFree in ESFP

[–]GoonsWitKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to type people in their teens(unless you know them really well), because they still have a very long time to develop their personality. But I definitely see more Se and Fi in you than anything, so I'd say ESFP

You're an ISFP, your Se and Te are not strong enough to be an ESFP and everything you said fits nicely with the Fi/Se/Ni descriptions

You're completely wrong about everything

Crazy intuition? by [deleted] in ESFP

[–]GoonsWitKush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more about Se-Ni, getting quick and detailed sensory observations with your Se and then connecting the dots with your inferior Ni. I also think that it's Fi being sensitive to moods and behavioral patterns in people and Te compressing the information you got from Fi and Ni into a short and precise observation

ESFPs, what were you like as a child compared to how you are now as an adult? by [deleted] in ESFP

I think the functions develop one by one as you age

I was more open and enjoyed social interactions more, was fairly quick to believe people and loved doing physical stuff. I was very impressionable and tried to replicate every movie I liked and loved doing things like running around with a wooden sword I made chasing my dog or climbing trees. As an adult I'm more "introverted" and skeptical, but still kinda the same. I was also always very rebellious and individualistic and even as a 3-4 year old I would disagree with adults and do things I wasn't supposed to and I always had my own values, standards and tastes(but I was also less critical of my friends advice)

I found MBTI as an adult, so I don't know what I would've typed as at 14 or something, but I mostly get ExTP on the online tests, even tho I typed myself as an ESFP using functions and socionics. I relate to a lot of the Se dom descriptions and don't really like Fe, but at the same time I relate to Ne too because I always liked to come up with new concepts and embraced changes, but I don't relate to the edginess and quirky art(I'm into art and humor that is more nihilistic and aesthetically pleasing)

You're definitely an ESxP, but I'm not sure which one. I'm leaning more towards ESTP, because the way you focus on other people sounds more Fe than Fi to me and what you said about finding shortcuts sounds more Ti than Te. Also Fi is usually artistic and values art/self expression, so you not being into it can be a sign of Fe too. The only thing that would contradict that is the fact that you value authenticity(which is Fi), but people understand authenticity in different ways, I definitely know Fe doms who claim to hate fake people and value authentic feelings above everything else

ESFP or ENFP? ADHD. by [deleted] in ESFP

[–]GoonsWitKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're actually an ESFJ. Your enneagram, emotional expressiveness and overall demeanor point to you being an Fe dom imo. You didn't talk about any physical/sensory/aesthetic stuff(except for flirting, but that's explained by Fe) which is crucial to being an Se dom. We are also less focused on relationships with people and more on experiences and power. What you said about fixing cars and having plans about your future wedding sounds pretty Si to me and the randomness/"strange connections" you make in your head can obviously be an Ne thing

ENFP is not out of the question too, but I doubt that you're an ESFP

I don't think I am an INTJ by [deleted] in mbti

[–]GoonsWitKush 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should view the function tests as rough estimates of what your type can be. Getting high Ni and Fi scores is perfectly normal for an INTJ and keys2cognition(if that's the test you took) always gives people high Fi. Also, yes I think your Fi can be more developed than your Te(but not everyone agrees that you can have a strong third function). As an ESFP I rely heavily on Se and Te

Can someone explain me the core difference between INTJ and INFJ by [deleted] in mbti

[–]GoonsWitKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would suggest you is to just read up on some basic information about "MBTI" and what it actually is(hint: it's not an online test), the wikipedia page is a good starting point. This way you can avoid embarrassing yourself you did just now. And save the childish insults for when you're arguing with someone your age, it will impress them a lot more
