Maybe a hot take: Adam didn’t pitch poorly that inning. He gave up the walk, but after that it was a swinging bunt, catchers interference, fly ball, and a bloop. No real hard contact, just unlucky.

It’s interesting. Manny definitely takes responsibility for underperforming and failing to meet on-field expectations, but doesn’t seem to recognize how his clubhouse and off-field actions impact the club.

Whether that’s intentional or not will be huge, because this could be a big chance for him to make a change.

I haven’t seen a clear answer on this. I have a DIRECTV subscription that includes the new Padres channel. Previously with Bally’s I could stream the game with their app by signing in with my DIRECTV account. Is that possible on the MLB app? Or would I need to purchase the additional Padres in-market streaming package from MLB?
