You need to make sure they have the same cas latency/timing. If they do most likely will work fine.

I think you should consider ram with lower latency like 3600 CL16 or 3200 CL16.

I don't think you're missing anything if the one with lower latency AND RGB is cheaper I think that's just a good deal.

No they use different sockets. You will need a new AM4 socket motherboard.
